Here we go. Sixers are also on the tail end of a long road trip. And playing without the MVP and former MVP. And we were up 21 with a min left in the first half. This is unacceptable
Don't think this is a game the Kings should win. The sixers are a well disciplined team even without their stars and are very capable of beating us

More than anything Metu going down seemed to suck the air out of the sails. Especially because we finally seemed to have some competence in the second unit. It would be a huge loss if he is out long term. Of course not like losing one of our core, but it took us half the season to get into the swing that group got into the last two weeks.

Sixers are probably a worse matchup for us without those two though honestly. Maxey and a bunch of 3 and D role players who play fast is harder to exploit on offense than walking sieve James Harden and a huge 7'2" guy with bad knees. And Sabonis is having an uncharacteristically terrible game.

There again though, it's a bad excuse. Players will go down. It happens all the time.

Why does it also always seem every Kentucky guard has a huge game against us? Between Booker, Shai, and Maxey it’s fees like a career night for all of them. It’s like they all play up against their buddies Fox and Monk

Keegan really turning it on defensively in this quarter. Has had some really nice possessions switched onto Milton.

Those guys haven't really scored much above their averages against us though. They're just good at basketball.

Might have something to do with Kentucky attracting NBA quality guards. NBA factory.

It's an excuse that anybody else's play drops off, if because someone else got injured. The backup center role is a separate discussion.
I am not excusing the performance jesus dude. I am talking about what a disaster losing Metu could be.
