[Game] Kings v. Thunder, 12/3/13 - 7 p.m. PST

So watching this halftime show combined with PDA on with Grant/Jerry, as well as with other things PDA has said, it's clear he really, really like Vasquez.

I still say we without a doubt need a new starting PG next year. It's great Vasquez is a good guy and wants to be here, but that does nothing for us when he's out there defending NBA PG's. And someone turning 27 next month won't suddenly become athletic enough to do what we'll need at that position.

Can't watch the game how has Derrick Williams looked @SF and how bad is the DMC ankle sprain didn't look bad at all when he did it in the Warriors game.

By and large I haven't been impressed with Ben's defense starting in Summer League till now. However, with his athleticism you hope that he grows into a good-to-great defender. If that happens then you could probably get by with Vasquez though you'll just be 'acceptable' rather than good even if Ben grows into a great defender.
It could be that is the FO's hope and they are fine with all the losing until Ben can get there.

Having watched the half-time segment you're referring to though...I don't think it means that they won't pull the trigger to move GV if a good deal comes along.

Exactly. Especially since the segment featured Luc Richard and how glad PDA was to get him. :p

As far as the 'Over-help' comments by Jent I saw Williams do that twice (when Ben was guarding Westbrook) which resulted in two wide-open 3pt shots that the Thunder made.

so freaking annoying how JT always pushes in the back going for rebounds. there was 4 kings right there going for that board and he still shoved Ibaka.
