Yea, alot of teams are shutting down their rookies for ill reasons. I dont like that call. But, im not the one in charge. I predict Jason Thompson goes for 50 because it feels good.
 
portland summer league

Oden did not play, but they said he was physically capable to play, but just gearing up for regular season. Aldridge didn't play either.


Portland looked like they were playing small-ball yesterday against the Wizards. They played with 3 guards: Swed at Point, and Bayless at the two, and 2 Forwards I don't remember who they were but they were undersized.

Washington (except for Andray Blatche) didn't even recognized huge mismatches; for example, Javale McGee took outside shot after outside shot when the competition was seriously outsized.

Bayless can score and he was the only one doing anything good for Portland: he got in double digits first in the game (1st quarter). He got involved early: coaches told him to shoot, shoot, shoot.

Overall terrible game only one total assist in the first quarter.

Singletary will be guarding Swiss PG Petteri Koponen. Bayless will be Douby's assignment since he's playing SG in the Summer League.

We should win the game. Bayless will put up numbers, but if we keep him inefficient then I'll be satisfied.

I have a technical question...

When I tried to watch the replay of the first summer league game the window would crash every time I tried to view it. I want to check out the game tonight but I fear the crash will still occur. If anyone could help me fix the problem I would greatly appreciate it.

Watching the game?

Anyone trying to watch the game right now on nba.com? After buffering all I get is a video screen saying NBA Summer League Live Event.

Anyone able to get a picture?
