The Kings at 5 will likely play the Mavs at 4.

The winner of 4-5 plays the winner of 1-8 (Suns-Griz) or
does 4-5 winner play 3-6 winner?

The 1, 2, 7 and 8 seeds probably won't be decided till the last game of the season. Kings aren't a lock for the 5th seed either.

we been on the losing end of a lot of 3-1 series this year. wouldnt it be cool if we were on the winning end of it verses the suns?

I have a really good feeling about the playoffs. When you stop and think about it, the Kings have been winning specific games on the backs of specific players since the big trade. We all know that Bibby, Mobley, or Peja can win games for us on any given night. Now we have Skinner, Thomas, and Williamson turning in stellar individual performances. You just never know who is gonna step up on any given night.

I don't expect Bobby and Brad to be factors in this playoffs. How could they be? Despite that, if G.W.E. Adelman can juggle these players effectively, and sub-in the hot guys at the right times, I really like our chances. The Kings have had perpetual injuries, and in fact, have rarely fired on all cylinders, yet they are still the fifth seed and looking strong.

This is our year. ;)

if eddie, corliss, kenny and brian are aggressive.. i like our chances with or without brad and bobby.... with corliss, kenny and brian, we have something that we havent had in years aggressive players... playing against a team like the mavs, i cant wait to see corliss subbing in for peja and have howard guarding him... he's gonna be going to the line everyother play, only because dallas wont play d on every play.... eddie has been doing a great job so far so i hope that he gets the minutes that he deserves...

i honestly think that corliss is the difference maker against dallas and thomas is against phoenix.... with marion guarding him in the starting line up... because they still think that they can just outscore us, so johnson and q will still be in the starting line up until someone gets into foul trouble... because of that either peja or kenny will score like crazy in the beginning because of the mismatch... if they put marion on peja, kenny has johnson or qrich on him... thats worse than the matchup in the laker game...

if adelman gives his bench the right amount of minutes.... and darius stays out of foul trouble... we should be okay...

I don't have a good feeling, so can I have what your having so I can feel good. On second thought, maybe I don't wanna know what you are having. ;)

Seriously, I'm just going to enjoy the playoffs a game at a time.

^yup thats what ya gotta do when you really don't know what to expect...lol

Since the Chris trade I hadn't had a great feeling about the POs...and ofcourse that blows a big fattie...but over the last week or so just hearing some of the things people are saying (like that we have the worst chance out of all of the other 15 teams in the POs to make any noise) about us is just firing me up and making me believe in the team even more...making me even more proud to be a Kings fan...that maybe just maybe the good karma rays are going in the same direction as we are....I just want the Kings to shock some people come PO time they don't have to get the WCFs or anything just make it out of the first round would be great that in itself would shock some people...I mean I'm not gonna expect much but thats not gonna stop me from hoping :)

GO KINGS!!!!!!!!

If we go down to the 7th spot, i'd be glad to face the Spurs.

Uh...that might not go so well. How about we try to warm up on somebody who isn't a favorite to win the whole enchilada?

I have a great feeling..

I see all these people posting that our team isn't that great...

We have (hopefully) Miller, Thomas, Peja, Mobley, and Bibby... WHY ARE THESE 5 not good enough to win? Since the trade Bibby has played like an all-star, and is the 2nd-3rd best PG in the league.. Mobley is a top tier shooting guard.. Peja is one of the top SF in the league. Miller is one of the top 3 Centers in the league, and Thomas is above average at PF.

Now about our bench.. Jackson? 6th man.. Williamson? 6th man.. Than we have Skinner who is a great inside presense and possibly is the best bacup Center in the west! Songalia, Evans, House (who seems like he cant miss a shot).. Come on guys! Who can match up with us when we have everyone paying? NOBODY!

I see people bashing our team, and it pisses me off. The players we have are capable. If you feel they are not, than who would you rather have instead?

I agree with you on that one... but its not the talent.. its the heart. We can be the number one team in offense, have an all-star calibur team, but without heart we wont get anywhere. And i believe we have the heart this year... We might get a 50 win season after all these changes and losses, how can that not be considered an achievement?? We scored over 117 points in about the last 5 games, imagine if we went into the PO's with all our post-season games scoring over 117 points? we'd be unstoppable. PLUS the addition of Miller and most likely B Jax.

No ****, I read that post and about choked on the enchilada I'm eating. It's kind of a 2 edged sword. We either play one of the hottest and deepest teams in the first round or we get a wounded and struggling team in the first round and one of the best teams in the NBA the second round.

You keep playing that same tired tune... Just because some of us aren't convinced this team is ready to go into the NBA finals for a variety of reasons DOESN'T mean we're bashing them. I love this team. Have for a very long time. I'm being honest in stating my reluctant belief that I simply do NOT think a team who lost two starters to late season trades and has, because of a variety of injuries, not been able to really put their new lineup to full use is going to make it all the way.

You act as though I'm joyfully calling the Kings losers which is not true in any way, shape or form. I will cheer them as loudly and as long as you do, and hope that I was wrong. I would LOVE to be wrong. I would be absolutely ecstatic if they proved me and others totally and completely wrong.

The difference is that I am really sure that if they fold in the first round all of you who are soooooooo convinced they're championship caliber are going to start pointing fingers and assessing blame. It will have to be someone's fault if they fail to live up to YOUR expectations.

Sorry, but I'm not putting that on them because I am already very proud of what they've been able to accomplish this year... and I'll be proud of them no matter how they do in the playoffs.

Hear, hear! I WANT to be proven wrong, but I'm not going to blame anybody if the Kings don't go all the way...this year, anyway.:)

I think the current roster is the most physically diverse and interesting team that the Kings have fielded in my memory. REMEMBER, THEY HARDLY KNOW EACH OTHER YET! If these guys really come to play, and nobody becomes the insufferable "head-case of the day" in these upcoming games, they will win.

I usually remain fairly level-headed throughout the year, and a quick exit would not even bother me. I am almost a casual observer when they are not on the court. I think some of you are so emotionally beat-up from devestating losses during the Divac-Webber era that you are afraid to stand back and look objectively at this team full of second-hand players. There is something special happening here. I can feel it.

Do what you have to do to maintain your mental stability. We don't want any fan suicides. As for me, I am really stoked about the upcoming playoffs.

I would not be blown away to see the Kings "clear the table" of the remaining regular-season games. They probably won't. However, at a minimum, G.W.E. Adelman and the Second-Hand Kings will exceed my early-season prediction of 49 wins.

The mighty Phoenix Suns are going down folks. You read it here first.

^ Well this week is the week to prove were better than the Suns. If we actually pull off 2 wins against the Suns this post season... good results will happen if we face them in the playoffs.
