It's interesting that as good as DMC has improved, he still has major problems with reach in fouls and these pg activities. I don't like what he does but there is hope for even a better DMC.

And this isn't just today. Cuz's assist numbers have plummeted recently and it's largely a product of the offense not being run through him as much.

Do you not understand it's the PG calling out sets and directing traffic?

If it was something Malone didn't want, he likely wouldn't have just tried it coming out of the timeout, which leads to me believe he's giving IT the freedom to call sets instead of yelling them from the bench, and it's our PG who's running the more perimeter oriented sets rather than posting Cuz. It takes more patience to post him and space the floor, and right now none of our guards look patient.

Not going to point fingers at anyone but so far they have the lead by beating us down the court about 10 times, our defensive rotations and team defens what's been bad. Some guys are working hard at it but when you got some being lazy...it ruins the team defense

Very weird offensive scheme in this one. Malone is channeling Keith Smart, using Cousins as almost a decoy on the perimeter to open the rim up to his oh so precious scoring runts. Keep waiting for the "ok time to get serious" moment when we start slamming it inside. Hasn't come yet.

It is fascinating. He has 9 assists and 0 turnovers but watching the game I'd say he's done a poor job of running the team
