im sure he doubled down on that to his teammates and coaches. That’s the kind of thing that can rally the players and take the sting off this loss.
Mike Brown in his presser, bringing out a laptop and replaying video and telling it like it is. Fox foul on Lillard 3 was lame, 19-5 FTA’s at half, Lopez having one arm bent on player and not both vertical…no call.
At some point, some coach, besides Darko had to keep the attack on the refs going.

Missed free throws happen. Yes, good on him for taking the onus, don't take a 2 possession game and let the other team turn it into 1 with no resistance. That's a mistake that will for sure come back at some point if not corrected.

No doubt about it. Freethrows are very important and may very well be a hindrance for us going forward, but nothing can convince me that one of our biggest hurdles isn’t playing 5 on 8 more often than not. These refs don’t give a crap about the good story we were last season or this season. Little to no marketing or recognition from the league in the way they slobber on Giannis or Haliburton and these others stars = overlooked on and off the court. It’s disgusting and not an “excuse” by any stretch - it’s a fact at this point.

Yup. And please do not bring Keegan back into the lineup until he has fully healed up. First the back issues to start the season and now this smh

Monk was super casual about going to the line and seemed like he thought the game was in the bag. I would have liked to see him take a deep breath and take his time. At least one them falls if he did that and who knows what we would be talking about right now. Both of those shots were way off

His big gripe too was the lack of calls Domas gets as a rim protector. He said they flat out told them that Lopez having one forearm in the chest of the players he's stopping at the rim was verticality. Yet, when Domas does that same thing is almost always a foul. And he's totally right. It is, or it isn't.
This is the great thing about Brown’s presser. Wasn’t a rant. He showed video proof and was measured in his words.

You can't have your lead guards miss 3 out 4 free throws at the end of game. We already know they don't get the benefit from the officials, that's a given and no surprise
Domas is the only star player I've seen get called to the letter of thr law. You'd think he's some scrub no name our there by the way the refs treat him.
The contact he and Fox take at the rim is disgusting. Both dudes should be 8+ FtA game in and game out
2 things can be true at once.

They're going to have to play through it and control what they can with clutch play. Gain some more respect.
Sorry, maybe that's an excuse last year, but coming off taking the defending champs to 7 games, a 58 win season and on pace again for a 50 win season this year? Not to mention 2 of the best stars in basketball.
Kings have proven they're for real and they still get treated like the same old garbage bin Kings

If you're a player on the team, what would you suggest they do?
Starts with what Brown did tonight. Call that BS out. Maybe Fox and or Domas take a 50k fine and call this crap out.
Of course you have to "play through it", but famn it's frustrating as a fan watch our guys get held back because we aren't a league favorite. Can only imagine how it feels as a player

We’ll win and crush some other fanbases hearts, just as the same will happen to us in a few weeks. 82 games so we’re bound to experience it all. Very true. The great thing about guys like Monk and Fox, is the fact that they respond well when they screw up. More often than not, we do not have to worry about these guys - especially in clutch situations. Gotta shake this one off and light some beams a few times in a row now. That’s what I’d like to see us do, in the way we did last season. Give me a 5 game winning streak or more! We can do it.

its cleat they took from us 7 points out of those 3 plays (of course assuming we do 4-4 from the FL , so let say 5 points) and we lose the game by 1 ...
so there should be more anger out there . As the crasy dude in Toronto a couple of night ago ...

Imo he displayed that in the game. Maybe he feels differently if we didn’t gift Milwaukee the game. We were up 4 with our best free throw shooter at the like for 2 with 20 plus seconds left. That will be the story of this game despite the poor officiating
mostly been on stupid twitter since I got up today. having a real bummer of a sports day and if we had closed out it would have made up for it.
I hate that Brown had to get ejected to get us a fair fight. I hate that Monk who is our most clutch FT guy missed two. But I love this team. Always will.
