Kevin is really struggling. He's taken the most shots by far and is shooting only about 30% :( He does have 5 RBs and 2 assts, tho. :)

Laker bigs are dominating the Kings bigs right now. Turiaf and Bynum are pretty much getting to do whatever they want in the post.

Brian Cook was making Reef look like an All-Star. I'd be surprised if he sees lots of playing time in the second half.

I've been watching on the local LA channel, and the announcers mentioned earlier in the 2nd quarter that Moore had played 11 minutes, without getting a single rebound. Well, yeah.

Interesting, but not true. I know he's had at least two rebounds.
You're right; the NBA.com scoreboard reports that he had two boards. They may have come later in the second quarter.

On the other hand, Reef and KT had 9 rebounds in the first half, Martin had 5 rebounds, and Garcia had four. The Kings are out-rebounding the Lakers 25-17. That's surprising.

If Watkins and Jwill become good FT shooters then they'll certainly be a lot more productive. I know Watkins is generally better but still.

It's clear that Garcia has worked very hard this offseason to perfect the art of leaving a three point shooter wide open.

Artest is staying out because Theus wants the guys who will be starting the season to try and win a close game at the end. Artest won't be there for 7 games, remember?

Both Bynum and Turiaf have been pretty much impossible to stop. Sure would have liked to see Artest match up against them.

I want to see final stats on assists, but I know the Kings only had around total 7 in the first half - terrible. Luke Walton has had a lot of assists - probably more than the entire Kings team it would seem.

I hope taking up 22 seconds for an off balance shot by Kevin Martin wasn't how Theus drew that one up.

I also hope that this is just a learning experience and not how Theus will use timeouts in the regular season. Zero timeouts left, no way to advance the ball.

Yea I know. But what I mean is if they really really wanted to win the game they could put him in. Anyway, very bad night for Martin...Now if he was shooting at his usual percentage he'd have like ... 40 points
