no, people who can;t see the difference aren't looking with fresh eyes.
Last year we had the TALENT to compete, and so when we wanted to we competed with just about anyone. but the chemistry problems were terrible and so we only sporadically showed up with that effort.
This team, on the other hand, may or may not be talented but it ****ing competes every night. And that's a point of honor. Rocky was a hell of an inspiring story, and he lost the big fight. but he refused to quit. That's always great.
I swear that was just baffling to me. I dont understand the thinking there. Or maybe I doRudy Gay just ran away from Jennings going to the rim to score
What is a guy supposed to do when players are inconsistent? He subs in a tall lineup and gets them back into this game and your going to criticize that? Nobody knows who is going to play well for Sac from game to game except BoogieAgain no rhyme or reason to the rotations, shades of the keith smart era lately.
Every time we have had chance to tie or take lead we have taken dumb shots.
We have taken dumb shots, but not every miss is a dumb shot. We have not gotten to the point of TAKING games like these. yetEvery time we have had chance to tie or take lead we have taken dumb shots.
You know, I kinda/sorta see your point with your disdain for the "moral victories," but the team actually is progressing on schedule. The progression is actually quite similar to how we looked the first year under Malone: we didn't win, but we were always competitive. And then, in the second year, that's when we started to put it all together... until Cousins contracted meningitis, and Malone got fired shortly thereafter. Is that the story you will abide by for the entire season? moral victory after moral victory? Rocky stories?

But, the point is, with the personnel we have, and a coach like Joerger, this is how it should look. The reason why many Kings Fans feel such a strong sense of urgency is Cousins' contract status: they're all convinced that we have to make the playoffs this year, or else losing Cousins is "inevitable."
Noah has had 5 fouls for a while now, and when Noah and KP maul Cousins nothing is getting called in the last few minutes.Cousins keeps driving it against Noah with no success...maybe time to try a post move instead?
