Running an offense is what separates the real superstars from the rest these days. It's funny Markkanen is the lowest apg player out of the top 25 scorers. The top 10 is averaging no less than 4.1 apg.
The Jazz are a fairly unique team/system where they have tremendously good passing from basically all of their rotation players. Kelly O/Vandy are above average big man passers, Conley, Clarkson, Sexton share the workload and THT/NAW are above average passers on the wing when they play. Lauri hasn't really had to show much playmaking. It'll be interesting once (if) he's a focal point of their rebuild and all these vets are gone if he has that in the bag
I mean, it's also not hard to see players that grew up overseas tend to get prepared to play like similar players that had a similar road when they were developing.
Barnes has been shooting some shots he likely shouldn't be. He's had some really bad passes and sloppy catches that's he's rushed into a shot. He needs to be a little more selective on those.
Kings-Jazz would be a great 7-game series. 2 great coaches, they can't stop our strengths, we can't stop their strengths. Two up-tempo teams that play unselfishly with good depth.
