piksi

Hall of Famer
Another short handed opponent - another loss. Kings dropped to 4-7 for the season and started a 2 game home losing streak. 3-3 at home is not enough considering that all 6 of them were very winnable. We have 8 more games left in November; 5 on the road and only in Memphis and at home to Nets we really have a decent shot at winning one of them

Piksi's pow(d)er rankings !

Another lin is always good. Kings dropping in standings improving the pick position

PO chances = 0%

For few of You that still have "ambitions" to get to the post season - just please answer me one question. How are we going to have better record than 2 out of these 9 teams; lakers, Jazz, Hornets, Rockets, Suns, Blazers, Mavs, Spurs and Nuggets ? Just a sound logical explanation. I will give You even teams that are equal to us like Warriors. So tell me which 2 teams we can pass after 82 games and how.

We lead the whole game and we couldn't close the deal. Sounds very familiar. No Parker and Flopibili means 50% scoring, 66% offense for the Spurs who can only win one way. Make it ugly, slow and low scoring. Losing isn't a bad thing this season but losing the same way, over and over again gets old. Thank God - we can still blame Finley.

AWARD TIME

TDM went to Mat Bonner who had the game of the season

LW-VC went to Hill

Oberto gets the RA & 1 award. Scoring only 2 pts in 26 minutes against our power front line is beyond pathetic

JHA went to Hawes who had a bad game.

WTF moment of the game was that wasted inbound after the time out towards the end of the game.

Grizzlies are young and have potential but they also suck and they are very beatable. We beat them at ARCO not too long ago so they will look for payback. They are also on a 4 game losing streak so we will have a difficult challenge.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Salmons - man, couple more games and the trade value would be just right
Brad - stop whining
Beno - too many turnovers
Kevin - get well soon
Mikki - a rebounding machine and he even continues to consistantly score.

Hawes & Thompson - it was time to get back to earth

rest - mateen

Grizzlies are 3-7 and with a win tomorrow they can get ahead of us in the standings which isn't that bad. They have a bunch of young players that also need a coach. Mayo and Gay have been really good this season. I expect Gasol to get the TDM. Conley gets the LW-VC. Other awards also in play. It would be interesting to see who chokes better if the glame is close down the stretch.

Yeah, I was just about to ask where that info came from....and why he wouldn't play.

Well we will just have someone else not rebound, not score, not defend or contribute in any way.

Would like to see a starting lineup of Miller, Thompson, Salmons, Douby and Udrih. Salmons slows down Gay while Douby tries to stay in front of Mayo. Hawes gets all the backup 4/5 minutes, which should be some 30 I would hope, with Shelden getting some time if he's effective. Hopefully Jason plays well starting at his natural 4 spot and doesn't look back, with Mikki coming off the bench when he's healthy again.

Could be convenient that way, which if I were a conspiracy theorist who thought Mikki would actually go along with it without blowing a dreadlock would almost lead me to wonder... ;)

I predict a KT sighting tonight. But what's more important, if he doesn't play tonight what the HELL is he doing on the team?

Hawes in for JT winding down in the 1st. 23-21 Griz. Probably JT back in w/Hawes staying for Miller to start 2nd Q. All three will see plenty of mins tonight w/ Mikki out.
Coach puts JT quickly back in instead to team w/Hawes.
