[Game] Kings @ Celtics - 1/30/13 - 4:30 PST

You've just got to love the Kings D tonight. An absolute clinic. Can you set a world record in laziness? Is that in the Guinness Book of World Records? Kings deserve at least an honorable mention. Just watch the guys not rotate back on D. Watch them strolling up the floor after Boston gets the defensive rebound. Watch them counting 1001, 1002, 1003 before they decide to half-a** "run" up the floor. It's like: Oh, I see the ball bouncing off the rim; I think Boston is going to get the ball; yes, they got the ball; now let me see what's going to happen; oh, I forgot, I'm supposed to run down the floor; well, now that I've momentarily forgotten, what's the use....

This is embarrassing. Reminds me of when we were down to the Lakers like 28-0 many many years ago.

We are down 21 so probably, hopefully they just play JT, T-Rob, Garcia, IT and Evans in the 2nd half, guys whos actually show up and play hard no matter what.

It's a broken locker room. This is what happens when we keep hiring non-NBA level head coaches. It usually always happens at some point. Players of course deserve some responsibility, but broken locker rooms when the team has zero confidence it yet another cheap a** coach usually result in play like this.

I highly doubt we see any of these problems if we have any number of coaches, as long as they're legit NBA head coaches.

Smart's Timeout: "Guys I just dont get it, the offense is solid. One on one dribbling just like we talked about. Maybe get the ball to IT more, hes having a good shooting night"

i get the feeling that this team being forced to play with Smart until new owners come is going to lead to Cuz demanding a trade and Tyreke being gone soon aswell

By the way, our issues are not just because of 'one' thing.

We have a bad coach, we have bad players with bad attitudes. We have a bad arena. We have bad owners and a bad front office.

And the issue here is that there is light at the end of the tunnel. This is a lame duck season for the entire organization. This team may be in Seattle or Sacramento next season, but the team from the top on down will look completely different wherever they are.

WOW Cousins got a deep post position and scored no WAY , only took his 10th shot attempt to figure out.

According to Elias Sports Bureau, no other team had as many as 12 consecutive FGM entering tonight.
And Boston made 14 straight in the 2nd. Part of history, fellas.
I'm sure that they're just talking about this season; I'm almost positive that the Kings had a quarter where they hit at least 12 in a row against the Rockets, during the Adelman era. In fact, I think they may have hit every shot they attempted in the first quarter.

Smart is so bad that he has managed to completely overshadow the fact this roster is flat out bad. Not trying to defend the rotations, still though you have to recognize just how awful the bench is. People are praying for Jimmer and JJ, that says it all. The money Hayes, Brooks, Outlaw, Garcia, Salmons and Thorton are making relative to their production is pathetic. Jimmer and JJ being young are certainly more intriguing, but they have never produced much more, if any more, then that aforementioned group. This teams issues, sadly, run a lot deeper then just coaching.

unfortunate that it may be in Seattle, but very excited for this nonetheless

Don't get me wrong, i want Jimmer to play. But the only time he ever gets minutes is when Thornton is on the floor, which is just a terrible idea.

totally true. the problem is, he makes it 100x worse than it needs to be, these guys suck, like u stated, so theres NO reason to play them all at the same freakin time. mix the bench in with starters like a real coach!
