Thompson and Hayes for williams and Gorgi Dieng and a 2nd

We get a you big who is a shot blocker with potential

funny, but yesterday when I was looking at that deal again Dieng was the name that came up for me too.

If you trade Thompson away you absolutely MUST get back a center sized player in return. Dieng would have to be the guy.

Sup ya'll. Kings fan all the way in St Pete, FL. Been reading the site for a while now....

Anyways, if reports are right and Rose does have another torn ACL (god bless his soul) should we make an offer for Noah? Maybe they try and blow it up knowing Rose is never going to be the guy he once was.

If the Bulls wanted McLemore and Salmons for Noah, are you doing it?

IMO, 100% yes. Dude is an elite leader, winner, passer and defensive big. He has ideal size and would fit ever so nicely next to our big guy!

Was just thinking about this today. If the Bulls were about to "blow it up" because their franchise player might be done then I believe Noah would be up for trade for younger players and ending contracts. We have both on the Kings. If we could maybe Toss them over a couple ending contracts and McLemore It might just do the trick. Noah's contract would be ending right as they were starting to get better again anyway.

Maybe they're going to go after Kevin Love?

I just don't see the FO trading McLemore after proclaiming him the future and trying to move up in the draft and so forth. Yes, Noah would be amazing next to Cousins, but I don't think the FO does it for Ben.

Bulls need a scoring punch and Thornton can be that guy who gives them 20+ every night if they give him the green light. But, doubt they do it for any of the guys we want.

ok, so this is nothing but twitter chatter, but apparently Derrick Williams is about to be traded for defensive wing help and a name that won't wow anybody much. the name brought up in that context? Luc Mbah A Moute. dunno how I'd feel about that.

edit: again, this is likely nothing, but here's the guy that had/will have the Williams' news -> https://twitter.com/DanBarreiroKFAN

Please be salmons, please be salmons, please be salmons

Id be PISSED if we traded Mbop for Williams. Imo , Mbop should be near untouchable. We need him for defense. If this trade goes down, I'll never forgive this front office. That would be terrible

Hmmmm.....could Outlaw fall under that description? Luc certainly does. Would be great if it was Salmons.

hang on, I actually read that wrong, it's a "defensive player," not defensive wing. in that case the Hayes-Williams deal that's been discussed elsewhere might be it. which would be lovely.

Dan Barreiro ‏@DanBarreiroKFAN46m
@cosmicatomic Just laid them out: Deal all but done for defensive player that will not blow your mind from name standpoint. Almost no value.

Kind of describes Chuck Hayes as well. I would be beyond upset if it was Luc. He's a guy I'd gladly keep on my team for the next 7 years at the right price.

yeah, see my second post, I jumped the gun there. most likely because the tweet directing me to Barreiro speculated it would be Luc. moreover, I agree completely and would've found it kinda weird if the FO were willing to let go off Luc 13 games in, just when he's starting to find his footing and providing some excellent defence.

it will be hayes. Now we have a huge log jam at SF. Outlaw, Salmons, Luc, and Williams. who gets lost

Outlaw is gone, plus if PPat does not step it up he could be filling in @back up PF as well

Nets source claims its not them so potentially 3 teams. A Hayes for Williams deal would be a really nice low risk, high reward move.
On another forum from a wolves fan they said on the news or some team outlet they have no interest in Hayes

Doesn't fit salary wise. Only MBAM and Hayes fit for Williams. Hope its not Luc. Wouldn't make sense if its Luc either, as he fits what the team is trying to do. Hayes has been sort of the odd man out lately.

Thompson makes $5.6M, Williams makes $5.0M. That would fit.

Hope not. Really don't see how that balances the team better.
It's a move that makes us better for the future. Williams has the offensive potential to be an 18 PPG player in the future. At SF. Heck, just last season, he was 18 PPG with p/36. I don't put any stock into his numbers this season as he's obviously not in the Twolves plans for the future and has gotten inconsistent minutes.

The Landry signing immediately put JT on the chopping block for this FO as far as Im concerned. We get out of his contract and opens up a bigs rotational spot. Short-term, we obviously get much worse. But wins aren't important this season. Would love to see Salmons, JT, or Hayes flipped for WIlliams
