Just what we need, another 2 guard. And lets trade an expiring contract who happens to be the only center on our roster besides Miller (even if he'll never see a minute of meaningful playing time) to get him.

This addresses none of our true needs and gets us an inexperienced role player with a guaranteed contract in return.

Oh yeah, why would the Magic make this trade?

we need offense i dont care what u say. yeah inexperince ok still a shooter. a damn good one. muss is h8n on douby. bibby is in the witness protection program, brad is to passive, ron-ron forces alittle to much. KMART IS THE Shessh but is hurt. what else can i say. watching these games is hurting and taking yrs off our lifes.

I just which brad would shoot more and get nasty like when he first got here. he is a great shooter. and i just see this off season horrible. and lack of fire power.

we all want defense yes, but besides martin wheres the offense coming from consistantly?

You're trying to say Redick would provide consistent offense? Based upon what exactly?

Instead of making the "lol @ h8rs" comment, why not try actually addressing some of the responses that have been made?

how bout the fact that jj is the altime leading scorer and 3 ball maker in acc history. or the fact that potato sucks and doesnt play, therefore hes as useful to the team as you are, in other words useless, other than his contract potato is useless...theres an argument spidey

Or the fact that Orlando isn't ran by a bunch of idiots who give up the leading scorer and 3 point maker in ACC history for a 7 foot scrub with a small expiring contract. That's what he was referring to

I don't see many teams taking expiring contracts, just for poops and giggles. Usually the addition of an expiring contract is made when trading another player, for example:

"We'll give you Studly Studerson, but you have to take Gimpy McLame's 30 million dollar contract as well."
"Sure, it'll come off the books soon anyway."

vs.

"Why don't you trade us young talent with potential for this expiring contract?"
"Give up a young player for a bloated payroll? Where do I sign up?!"

Expiring contracts have a place in life. This is not one of those places. Don't take this the wrong way; I'm just clarifying how they work.
