[Grades] Grades v. Bucks 12/23/10

We are dumb. All of us, players, front office, coaches, and now with total lack of booing all this - the fans. But it's the players that are most dumb IMO. Interesting cryptic comment by Coach on "personal issues" in one particular players life that is maybe why he's in a funk.

I was waiting for the boos - wondering why we all seem so dispassionate. I booed, lowered my head, and did a walk of shame in the team store. Quietly though :D

I don't know about the booing part. My attitude has always been that the home team doesn't get booed no matter how badly they're playing because my job as a fan is to support them no matter what. If a team is struggling they know they're disappointing the fans and booing them isn't going to help them. The lack of cheering will get the message across and then when they finally do something right you cheer twice as loud to make up the difference. I don't know which is more right, that's just been the philosophy I grew up with.

My daughter and I were at the game. Met Section 101, and now that I know that he's bigger than I'am I won't argue with him anymore. If I were not a Kings fan, but just an outside observer, and I watched that game, I can honestly say that I wouldn't have cared which team won.

The was little to get excited about from either team. I thought both teams looked as flat as a pancake, and at times looked as though they couldn't wait to get back to crhistmas shopping. I was actually stunned when Evans scored in the fourth quarter and I looked to see that it was his first basket in the game.

With something like 26 or so seconds left in the game, and we're down three I believe,
and the Bucks inbound the ball, my daughter is up screaming foul the bastard. And we did around 12 seconds later. I have no explaination for some of the mistakes that are being made. This is highschool stuff folks!

And then I have to watch that video and hear we played hard? I have to hear he couldn't actually remember why he substituted Greene for Cisco. I had to hear he couldn't even remember the play I just discribed. What the hell game was he watching?

He has a hard job. I acknowledge that. But he wanted the job, and is getting paid 1.5 mil to do the job. So I'm not about to feel sorry for him. But in the spirit of christmas I will wish him a happy holiday, and hopefully a good new year. Merry Christmas to all of you as well.

Great point Bajaden -

I went to the Memphis game early on and sat in the lower level. This was when I had aspirations of starting the season like 21-12 (it's in a thread - trust me, I was completely wrong...). After the first quarter I just thought to myself, "what the hell is going on here". When you think to yourself as a relatively casual observer of NBA basketball that things don't look right, they probably aren't. That defines this whole season. You're watching them play, and except for certain moments, it just exudes doo doo.

Obviously, Tyreke's regression is the main problem, but it's more than that. I wish I could tell you what it is.
