Rudy should have shut up his trap after the tech. Probably could care less since he departs floor with his $19.2 million annual salary still guaranteed - nearly $24K per game.

Don't be surprised if they actually play better without Rudy tonight. He's always an iso player who is fairly selfish and doesn't play defense but tonight especially he seemed completely disinterested in anything other than his own shot.

Sad to say but deep down inside I think Rudy is more concerned with scoring points than winning games.

Wow, pathetic. Rudy literally quit on us.
Yeah, and the front office lied to him and quit on him, too. I don't condone Rudy getting kicked out but this isn't going to end with this. I strongly suspect there may well be a complaint filed by Rudy's agent against the Kings, claiming fraud. And that would really make other free agents want to come here.

This honestly and truly sucks.

The only hope I have left is that this game is the final straw - the one that convinces everybody that they either bring in a competent coach NOW or face not only a backslide but a new low...and considering how far down we were, that would be saying something.

Do you now?

Go on....

I think he's far more concerned with the con-job PDA and our FO pulled on him to get him to sign an extension with us.
What history does Rudy have in his NBA career in winning games? When has he shown any leadership skills that even remotely align with his basketball skills? Has he ever shown the willingness to make his teammates better?

Memphis and Toronto both became vastly better teams that played team basketball once they got rid of Rudy. That is a blatant fact not an opinion.
