Well it was clear Mario had a offer on th table for 1yr for a portion of 8.5(turned out to be 6.5) if Vlade did try with a better offer sent by faxto put on the table next to it and had phone calls trying to sell the Kings and his offer and had phone calls from Peja and bogie if any such efforts were made it wasn’t reported by sac media. If Vlade made a better offer and Mario still wanted knicks hey we gave it the best shot mario’s Loss and my apologies to Vlade and kings FO. If kings sat on hands hoping we could get him cheap while the last decent sf got snatched up then shame on them

Lance Stephenson to the Lakers is quietly a good deal again. Between LBJ, Stephenson, and KCP they will be able to make the Warriors work on defense. I hate it.

A combination of Hood or Anderson with Bjelica would be ok with me now Anderson and Bjelica are high character guys by the looks of it and if Vlade and Peja can't convince Bjelica to sign here than we have no shot at anyone.

I don't believe he was actually considering Philly at all. He used them to get LA to do whatever it was he wanted them to do.

still doubt that meeting tipped the scales. the decision was already made in my opinion. but in general, if there was someone that would make a difference to the Kings the way Lebron will for the Lakers, and that someone seriously considered Sacramento, and then he arrived to his house in Sacramento, and then Vlade did not go to see him, yeah, it would be negligent.

According to Windhorst, he met with Philadelphia as a courtesy. It was always between LA and Cleveland. Your just throwing stuff out there. We went into FA with a plan. And there just aren’t that many SFs we realistically could have gotten and the ones we could have, Hezonja, is not that good. I mean, do we give Hood a 3 yr 27 mill deal? I wouldn’t, he’s just ok. I’d rather have James Ennis for a smidge of that on a 2 year deal for low salary.
Maybe the plan is to take on bad salary, maybe it’s still Lavine or Parker,

I think the team will be decent next year. don't think he failed. or at the minimum we don't know yet.
