Simple question: what was the last FA signing that actually was a success story?

For the Kings? In the Cousins era, our best FA signing is Darren Collison...LOL

He's a good player, but that's a little sad

Wow that makes me feel sooo much better, than Vlade meeting and signing a FA SF last night and all day today

So now we have to wait until after SL so Kings can put out RFA Offers that players wont sign or teams match

This isn't new. The nba has always been a league of haves and have nots.

One of the Lakers or Celtics were in the finals every year in the 80s.

Well I'd love me some Aaron Gordon right about now. Tough though as Orlando will definitely match.

So, from our perspective though, Lakers are pretty much out of money. They'll have the room exception and probably resign Randle into the tax.

Takes another spender out of the market. Really hope we try and capitalize on these teams RFA situations.

It was a decent "potential" grab, but he doesn't really fit any holes we have as a team. Plenty of guys who make us better than Hezonja would still out there.

You've got to think the Kings didn't want him considering there wasn't any chatter linking the Kings to him.

lots of free agents are quick to sign that one year deal, they know the cap goes up even more next season and more teams will be spenders

I didn't see any evidence that they aimed low or high. What makes you think they whiffed. I don't think they swung.

Yeah agreed, but only if we got 3 years on the deal. I wouldn't have been interested in him in a 1 year deal here.

This definitely smells of Hezonja looking to get good exposure in New York, put up a good year, then get a big deal next off-season.

so that means that the Kings have to hit on their draft picks because they won't build a winner with free agency

See my post above. I am truly frustrated by the idea of some fans here that Vlade isn't doing anything.
