I hope my club's coaches and players are watching so they can see what proper service looks like. Schweiny set Gomez up perfectly both times.
fm? Forza Motorsport?
Oh yeah we have it, I tend to stick to FIFA though. I like to play the games.
St. Pauli horrible fans? Interesting how different people in different places think. I always thought they were held in high regard, but that's largely based on experience within my supporter's group where they are held as one of the standard bearers of how we wish to be viewed.
They are anti-hooligan/anti-racist/anti-fa/anti-sexist/anti-homophobia (some of which is in the team's charter) and I'm sure that has lead to conflict, but they're also known for having one of the largest female supporter contingents and are also loved in the arts community. 11 million fans in Europe, there's bound to be a few jerks.there the onces who go on about being anti holliganism ect... but actually have a really violent firm?? or am i thinking of someone else :/

football manager! do you not have it in amarica??
Just checked the website for this, and it looks amazingly addicting! Might have to try it out in the future. Not sure if I would enjoy playing with a MLS squad, to be honest with you, as I feel it would be more fun to play with, lets say, an squad from England, one that is in the lower rankings of the country, and work my way up to the EPL. I'd totally be up to that challenge!!!
Without pro/rel there really is no reason to play MLS.
Promotion and relegation. You guys take it for granted I'm sure, it is probably the top 1 or 2 most discussed issue in the US soccer pyramid along with the salary cap.
The counter argument is that the Maloofs are running the team cheap and leeching off the television rights and revenue sharing and if there was a threat of relegation they could not do that.oh of course i like it no teams going bust... being a kings fan if there was relegation in this sport where whould we be![]()
With good reason. We have too many teams not investing in their product, gladly waiting for a player or two from the draft(which imo should be abolished), and not investing in youth to the extent they should, and worse of all, there's a comfort knowing you can't get relegated which is why we sometimes see considerable less effort/intensity compared to Europe.Promotion and relegation. But the draft is a joke, maybe a half dozen good players come out of it. The best young players in the league right now are coming from South America on transfers. With good reason. I despise the MLS draft. In soccer any and every club should put a premium on their youth academy and development, but when they can instead just sit there and wait for 2-3 top prospects to be handed to them every year, the incentive to go all out with youth development vanishes. Don't even have a functioning reserve league or a working relationship with the USL or NASL to loan out younger players for frequently.
I don't see promotion or relegation working here for awhile, but imo there's way too much comfort in MLS. I just don't like a closed system for soccer, where a tiered system is much better for overall development with many more clubs competing to move up the ladder with an emphasis on development, and because of the larger number of clubs in a tiered system with the possibility of promotion, have their hands all over the youth in their neighboring cities, whereas here if you're not from one of the 18 cities with an MLS team or academy as a youngster, you're screwed.
