Not surprised that Sean Marks is considering Udoka. Was around him a lot with the Spurs and of course Marks' Cal education means he must be brilliant. And witty. And good looking, just like all of us Berkeley grads.
The Kings could/should be in a better position than the Nets going forward but the Marks connection, the bigger market and the team being bad but not a national joke/raging tire fire of a franchise would mean either Messina or Udoka would be a near lock to pick the Nets if both Brooklyn and Sacramento were in competition for their services.
That and quite honestly I think coaching Cousins is a net negative for a prospective coach.
I still have Udoka at the top of my list but I think it's far more likely he either gets offered and accepts the Nets job or stays in his current role with the Spurs rather than trying his luck in Sacramento.
I guess we'll see how persuasive Vlade is and how well he can lay out his vision to prospective coaching candidates.
