The Miami Heat are rumored to target Sacramento Kings forward DeMar DeRozan this offseason. DeRozan, 35, joined the Kings last summer after being part of a sign-and-trade deal. Sacramento fired coach Mike Brown during the season, traded All-Star guard De'Aaron Fox at the deadline and parted ways with general manager Monte McNair. If DeRozan is on the trade block this summer, the Heat are a strong destination to land the six-time All-Star.

Sign me the hell up lol

Pretty sure Perry would pack Deebo’s bags himself (respectfully of course). Although if this is what the Miami side is putting out as an offer, maybe we should ask for more?
I love how the AI that makes these articles still doesn't understand the Stepien Rule. Miami can't trade their 2028 FRP. They can trade this year's (via GS), 2030, or 2031.

Miami isn’t trading a first for Derozan
They don't seem to want Jaquez and Robinson is salary filler. We need to recognize that DeRozan is an asset, not an anchor, and while he doesn't work with our team because we can't put the defense he needs around him, other teams can use him with fewer concerns there. This year's #20 is a minimum add-in for us to give up DeRozan. Sure, if they want to throw in Jovic instead of the pick I'd be down, but my bet is they'd rather dump #20.

I’d be surprised if we got a first round pick in the deal but this is the second version of a Deebo to Miami mock trade from Miami fan blogs that seem to be accepting of sending a first AND expiring along with Jaquez. So maybe it’s not out of the realm

The other deal was Rozier instead of Robinson and Larson but I’d prefer this one.

I’d take the deal in a heartbeat even if you removed the first rounder for a second rounder or even removed picks all together. Even the Rozier one

Id also look to Charlotte for maybe a Grant Williams, Okogie, second rounder and filler package but im not sure if Williams career is considered on thin ice since it sounds like his knee was totaled.
