My goal with the final pick was to get someone
who could play C/F, but also set an example for the rest of my team. Green accomplishes both of these goals and much much more. He was a great chemistry guy and never backed down in the face of adversity.

almost ended when J. R. Reid of New York intentionally elbowed him to the face. Green lost two teeth to the incident but still able to continue on with his streak by wearing a protective mask and only playing a couple of minutes a game for a few weeks.
Green suffered from chronic hiccups throughout his entire career, the hiccups only stopping when Green was running or working out.
Reportedly, Green never slept more than two hours a night due to the condition.
He led the league in games played 8 times.

only missed 3 games his entire NBA career.
