What transpired tonight across the NBA pretty much sealed our spot at the bottom.

Karma dictates that all three team miss in the lottery. We flip a coin to see who gets 4th, 5th, & 6th, and we finally lose our last 2 chances and end up in 6th.

Good thing karma doesn't exist.
In that case, there will coin toss scenarios (exactly how, I don't know) to determine the 1, 2, and 3 seeds for the lottery. The #1 seed would get 202 combinations and would guaranteed pick no lower than fourth. The #2 seed would get 202 combinations and would guaranteed pick no lower than fifth. The #3 seed would get 201 combinations and would guaranteed pick no lower than sixth.
So the odds of getting the top three spots would be almost exactly the same for all three teams, but would be more meaningful for worst-case scenarios. If two (or three!) teams from below the top three were to jump into the top three by having their combos selected, the coin toss would determine which tied teams would get the fourth and fifth (and sometimes sixth) picks.
But the prospect of a three-way (or even two-way) tie for last seems dim right now.

The Kings lose today is a win/win. Spurs tie Houston, and increase the chances of Houston falling to 5th in the West. The Kings guarentee 4th place or better in the lottery. And, the Kings can go on a two game winning streak on the road to end the season. Giving them a positive ending for the season, with a 2 game winning streak. Boy, I really like it when a plan come together.
