Egads...Dallas v. San Antonio in the first round? Will anybody outside the state of Texas actually watch that? Will anybody in the state of Texas? Aside from potential car accident voyerism if one if the senior citizens out there collapses and needs a crash cart?
Heheheheheh.

I'm going to enjoy this matchup for the simple reason I'll be able to root unabashedly for both teams to lose. No matter which one advances, I'll be happy because the other one will be going home...

;)

I love Cwebb, but the "number" on his kings jersey and him reppin us SCARES me.

I hope his own orlando draft selection counter acts our recent luck.

We should try to trade the #23 pick to Portland for Jerryd Bayless. Maybe toss them something else as well. (cash considerations?)

The kid can't get in the game with all the talent the Blazers have got. Imagine getting Griffin #1 and trading for Bayless with the #23. Not to mention that we could grab a sleeper at #31. That would be one hell of an offseason.

Portland prolly wouldn't even consider it, but a man can dream.

Why in the world would Portland do that? If Bayless can't even get in the game, do you think a #23 pick will?

Maybe while we're at it, we should offer the Orlando Magic Beno and Bobby Jackson for Dwight Howard.

No need to be a dbag. I did say 'a man can dream', acknowledging the trade was pretty much impossible, didn't I?

Get over yourself

1-4, 23rd, and 31.....best draft in last 5 years for our team.
A bit longer than that, even.

The last top 4 pick we had was the #3 selection of Billy Owens (1991), who we traded for Mitch Richmond. We also had the 27th, 31st and 42nd picks that year, so this year is roughly comparable. We ended up with a star and a couple of role players, which ain't half bad.

Now Geoff just needs to pick the right guys, and we're set.

Somehow I still think GP makes a draft day trade if they have #1. With Diogu being a diamond in the rough and with Hawes and JT, maybe trade Griffin for starting PG and a pick in the 4-10 range?

Better yet keep Griffin if Kings get #1, trade for a PG who could start and bang the hell out of the west with our 4 BIG KIDS in rotation thru the 4 and 5 spots. :D Think about those 4 doin there thang!!!

We'd have to trade for the right pt guard, or our 4 big kids would never touch the ball. I'am sick to death of our stop and pop perimiter offense.

As good as it sounds, our 4 big kids would probably be the smallest front court in the league, or at least the worst defensively
