I'm quite sure I mentioned Jags are my pops' favorite and after the E-Type was selected that I would still pick one.

In fact I think the D-Type is an upgrade

2005 Wiesmann GT

This reminds me quite a bit of my Bimmer. A ridiculously expensive version of mine at least.

From what I gather it only uses a BMW engine and Tranny, so the handling is anybody's guess. But as much as I love BMW's straight 6s those V8's are monsters. I may just have to pick one up, except I've already picked 11 and am having to make some cuts as is.

2002 Acura RSX Type-S

OK, I have to start picking my own cars. This was my favorite car I had ever had. Why? TURBO BABY! I put a Greddy Turbo in it with Hondata KPRO so I could adjust the fuel settings with my laptop in my car. I could also adjust when my VTEC kicked in.

My RSX had approx 350hp to the wheels (over 400hp if it was rated like the people rate new cars in commercials which is only to the flywheel) 0-60 best time was about 4 seconds wih my wheels spinning almost to about 40mph, and a 1/4 time of the low 12s. I miss my RSX

I am in the process of purchasing a 2005 RSX (newer body style) because I got tired of my Z and sold it Has anyone included their own car in the draft? Just curious.

I'm avoiding the temptation to draft my own car since I've got plenty of cars I'll never get my hands on that I'd like to give mention to.

I was extremely close to owning my #1 pick, the '58 Impala. I found one when I lived in LA at a great price, went down with a friend to inspect it, everything checked out but it was in the garage behind a bunch of other cars so I couldn't drive it. The guy told me I could come out the next week and drive it and when I called him back he told me he sold it and tried to push me towards a different '58 so it may have been some bait and switch deal. Really ticked me off though. The next year at Barret Jackson the prices on them were through the roof and since then I haven't even been able to find a non driving example for less than I would have paid for that. Off to cry now.

1961 Triumph TR4

Back when Brits made cars, rather then just sell brand names to American, German, Malesyan or Indian car manufacturers, one of the brands produced by British Leyland was Triumph. I am sure Triumphs too (like Lotus and Jaguar) sucked and spent 11 months out of each year in service, but they had character. Loads of it.

I did pick Mercedes C300, which is current version of the car I used to drive for years (in several sports/sedan/coupe versions). Currently I own a bus pass and a Metra ticket in lieu of a car (moved to the city) and I'd rather die then pick my wife's mini-van.

Actually, I just "re-habbed" my garage so owning a second, classic vehicle is a possibility, money and time permitting. Green is good, but man does need his car.

I'm with you on that. If I ever had money to buy a Ferrari (and I seriously doubt that even then would I write such a large check for a vehicle) I'd by a red one then promptly take it to one of those joints that advertise paint jobs to insomniacs (like, who the hell is looking for a paint job at 4am?) and get my Ferrari pained _mauve_ for $199.99.

Everybody would say there's that crazy SOB Bozz in his mauve Ferrari. He's a Kings fan too (in Chicago!).

1985 Jaguar XJ12 Vanden Plas V12 Series 3 III

I will upload a pic later tomorrow. This car means alot to me. My first and only Jaguar until I can get my hands on a XKRS.

It touched 100 km/h in 8 seconds and the maximum speed of 200 km/h. Under the bonnet it had a V8 engine with 360HP. The car it was light and it had the suspensions modified a little.

Chassis number 4891 once owned, driven and raced by Steve McQueen, one of the world’s most important pop icons. 1907 Stanley Steamer Model K Semi Race

I had to start out this round with some classic style.A 25 horse stanley (30 HP boiler/20 HP engine. The only year they did this combo, later years on the K were straight 30 horse cars. I like this combination of larger boiler with the smaller engine. Makes the car even lighter and very fast, but more importantly gives plenty of steam reserve. The car can go from dead stop 600 Pounds steam in the boiler accelerated to over 70 mph and still had 450 pounds of steam. Pretty scary fast for a car that's 100 years old, wire wheels, no windscreen or seat belts and only rear brakes. if it is good enough for Jay Leno, then I am definitely taking this baby out for a spin!
