2008 Ferrari F430 Bi-Compressor Evoluzione by Novitec
German tuner and Ferrari specialist Novitec has now upgraded the car to “Evoluzione” spec. Power is up by an additional 20hp, giving it an Ferrari Enzo rivalling 656hp and decimating the standard F430 which makes do with 490hp. Acceleration figures remain much the same as the previous version, with the 0-100km/h coming up in just 3.7 seconds while top speed remains at 348km/h.

Crazy English. They can't make a proper car to save their life, but let them design a sports car and they never fail to impress. TVR on the other hand is pretty much a sports car "boutique" manufacturer from Blackpool, UK. I happened to work for few years with one of their most loyal customers and got to ride in 4 different models. Liked them all. But Speed 12 concept is something else. A small shop concept car that competes with Mclaren F1 on performance (800 BHP). Insane.

My great-grandfather actually owned one of these cars. There's a picture in the family albums somewhere of it in front of their house on 3rd Avenue back in the late 30s. I wish he'd kept the car...

Cord did some pretty neat stuff. First to market an American car with FWD, and I believe this car was the first to feature retractable headlights.

1932 Duesenberg Model SJ
This car was so advanced in it's day it could reach speeds of well over 140 mph(225 km/h) and had anti lock brakes. What other car in 1932 heck what car made pre world war 2 could come close to this master piece. It was not only a beautiful piece of machinery but could blow by cars in its day. I think the first super car ever made. It also came with $25,000 price tag
back then.

Unfortunately, the audience was fooled, and many people discovered, especially after Ferrari sued for damages, that the production company had used a replica sourced from Modena Design and Research. It's a shame really, since the real version had all the hallmarks of a competition car underneath its curvaceous skin.

Designed by Harry Stutz and known as the first sporstcar in the scant-body and scant-comfort idiom. Stutz designed the Bearcat to be a masculine machine from the drawing board and it's rumored that he designed clutch springs so stiff that supposedly a woman could not operate it...a statement proven untrue by many. Built in Indianapolis, Indiana.

There are a couple cars I am surprised nobody has come close to. One is a concept car I thought was awesome looking - our son has an electric children's size one that he can drive - and the other is what I guess you would call a prototype but orders have been taken and the car is coming out next year.
It will be interesting to see if/when/to whom these two go to....

I did some research into classic Bugatti's for my draft list and stumbled upon Veyron. I remember it as a concept car, but apparently VW (since reviving the brand) has managed to get it into production. This is a car that according to wikipedia designers of McLaren F1 called pointless but Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear pronounced the best car ever. I guess I'll find out who is right. I couldn't pass up on a vehicle that does 0-60 in 2.3 seconds.

OMG - my sister had one of these and I took my drive test in it to get my driver's license. Only difference was that the color was a light lavender.
Well apparently he didn't associate with a model year and only 5 Pur Sangs were made.

Until I moved to the city and eliminated second car, I only drove C class (except my dad's car and my first ever car). Used beaters at first, then new models (took me a while to figure out that they are almost 40% cheaper here then in Europe!). If I ever buy a second car again, it will be a C class. There is no other every day car that I care for as much. Up to W204 you could always say that they're little bit boring and bland, but boy did they really hit the jackpot with the new styling (and a bunch of car of the year awards after years of domination by BMW 3-series).
