Queta had a few nice moments, but man. His 3rd summer League now, was one of the best players in the G-League last year, but still isn't showing the impact in these games. Nothing screams "We have to get this dude on the big league club, no matter what". It's all still speculative with him. I want to see him go dominate in Vegas, not have us be like "Hmm, I wonder what Slawson small-ball 5 would look like?"

Queta is making a huge impact on defense just being big and challenging but that's a hard way to stay in the league and the Kings just re-signed one of the few players of that mold that has been able to survive. Queta might be playing overseas pretty soon. Tavares just made it back to the NBA so there's a spot for Queta somewhere and some hope to make it back.

Looks like Keegan went wild.

How did Ellis, Nemi, Colby, and Slawson do?

-Colby doing his best Josh Hart impression. Hit a couple corner 3's on the C&S, super active defensively, had a really nice steal and then drew a foul on the other end.

-We saw some Slawson life in the 2nd. Had several opportunities where he took the rebound, pushed the pace and found O'connell for an easy C&S 3. Some intriguing point-forward type stuff.

-Ellis looks great. Active on defense as always, but showing some real comfort level on-ball and getting to some scoring moves.

-Kessler amazing on defense, bleh on offense. Had one super nice post-fade move

2 biggest disappointments in the first half were the C's. Neither guy showcased a whole lot for me.

His rim protection is good, but man I'm not sure I've seen a big dude with less rebounding instincts than him. Feels like he should be sleepwalking to 15 rebounds.
