One ist was not a factual report. Much of it is
opinion. I was there last night, and this piece is overblown about the Laker fans presence, IMHO. There were a lot of Lakers fans, but they were not the majority or louder. I think his hyperbole about the Lakers being at home in Arco is solely due to his Laker fandom.
Laker fans were maybe 1/3 of the arena, but Kings fans were drowing them out most of the time, except when they cheered a Lakers basket. We certainly drowned out that MVP chant crap.
Also, its not like Jones is some great reporter. At best he's an average reporter. In all the US, the Bee couldn't find a decent reporter that was not a big Laker fan? Then the Bee really is done.
Personally I don't even think many of them are Lakers fans. They're Kobe fans.
