Well seeing that I haven't lived in Sac since the early 90's...it figures I just now found out Chris Webbers restaurant is closed. :( My son and I are making the trec to see our Kings vs Mavs...4/10...any other "Kings" restaurants these days?

Sorry about that. :( Webber didn't like the location. Supposedly Webber will open another restaurant here at some point. Downtown was mentioned.

I'm thinking he may be waiting to see where a the new arena could be.

Don't hold your breath on a new one. Apparently he signed like a 20 year lease or something and the property owner is sueing him for like 2 mil in lease payments.

No Kings restaurants. The closest thing to a heavily Kings themed restaurant is the Applebees about a mile and a half from the arena on Truxel. I recently saw Jason Thompson there.

It's been available for lease for months. That's the problem. There is tons of available space around the location for lease.
It is a problem for sure. However, if the owner actually to lease it to quickly, there wouldn't be as much in "damages" to sue for, in terms of lost rent payments.

I know that the Waffle Barn in Roseville is heavily Kings themed. I cannot vouch for their other locations, but they have quite the display against their back wall of the restaurant. And it's good country-style breakfast food as well! When I hit town I try to go there at least one time during my visits!

Thanks everybody..appreciate the responses. Now time to find us some decent tix!

If you watch the games on Comcast, you'll probably see some great ticket deals in the next few days. With the departure of John Thomas, it's pretty clear that Maloof Sports is going to be pulling out all the stops to get fans in the seats for the last few home games of the season.

Enjoy the game...and GO KINGS!!!
