4/22-4/24 Giants vs Milwaukee

#1
Sorry guys, Ive been a little lazy lately so I missed two series but here is the thread for the upcoming series vs Milwaukee.

We have struggled this season... thats for sure but there is no need to worry. There is still a lot of baseball left. With Snow, Alou and Bonds back we will do a lot better. Obviously we should be winning without them but our pitching hasnt got off to a good start and our offense has been slow recently.

Good win last night but we need to dominate more during the game. Always hitting and running hard as the Dodgers are doing now. We DO NOT want to fight for a wild card and let the Dodgers slip away with the division. LETS CATCH THEM!

GO GIANTS!

Good job Colorado!

And is it just me, or is anyone getting sick of Rueter's play so far this year? I'vew been riding the Foppert bandwagon since his rookie year, and he really needs to come up. And to make room. Well, Rueter's gotta be the man out. He just isn't getting it done.

It's still early, and he can recover, but he isn't showing to many signs.

Well, Rueter rebounded, and pitched a pretty good game, until the 8th. He just doesn't have enough stamina for my taste.

Thoughts...

--The bullpen is beginning to take shape, and look pretty good. Walker has been dealing since his horrible start, and Benitez is strarting to look really good.

--I really, really like Niekro A-LOT. The kid can hit the ball, really good, and really hard. The guy is quickly becoming one of my favorite players.

--Not a good outing from Jerome today. He seemed lazy out there, and served up fastballs on a silver platter.

--Alou hitting a homer was a good sight to see. Heres hoping to many, many more.

--Visquel's play has me pumped. I've never watched him before this year, and his hitting and defense are fun to watch.

--Just stay at or around .500 until Bonds gets back, and we have a great chance at the division.

man jerome just could not put lee away when he had 2 strikes on him. should have walked him the 2nd time.

the O couldn't get that clutch hit to save their lives!!!

the pen is starting to show up, that is nice. the starters haven't been great, even schmidt hasn't looked real great lately, but they have generally done their job for the most part.

bad news though, bonds looks like he won't be back for at least a month and a half, maybe longer. back on crutches after getting his knee drained more then once :(

alou did hit his first jack of the year, he's going to have to carry the load for a while, hopefully he and pedro can do some damage together.

go giants!
