Bandwagon filling up again!?

Christie wasn't kidding when he said that he had some unfinished business.Born to be the DPOG on a world champion Kings team, now forced to live the rest of his life rectifying that injustice
I thought the team would come back, but man, they sure left it until late in the game. Then the two overtimes...the well-war phrase is "snatching victory from the jaws of defeat." Over and over again.
I don't think many will agree but ok doesn't really matter.

Some people take this as comedy, some as life motto. Sad as it is.

I’m so happy to see them overcome all of this, as well as not allowing the Heat to win in our building. They almost always come to Sacramento and rip our hearts out. Jacquez looked like Larry Bird last seasonI had a feeling this one wasn’t going to go well
Kings coming off their most impressive win of the season, 4 game winning, last game at home against a struggling team before a brutal road trip
This type of game has come up several times the last couple years and it turns out similar
Not looking good so far.

This team is just on a totally different level with Keon+Keegan on the floor defensively. They're both so good on ball and team defense, playing passing lanes, making impact defensive plays.
That play Keon had on Jaquez in ISO, in the post (someone said he couldn't defend wings?) and he just absolutely mauled him and blocked his shot. Absolute Chefs kiss
Luke 'freaking' Walton coached the Warriors to a 39-4 record while Kerr was out in what became the 72 win season.
I hated Luke Walton as a player and as a coach -- but the record is what it is. And it's the biggest reason why we got stuck with him as our coach for 3 years. If Kerr gets the credit for that 39-4 record his assistant coached his squad to in his absence (better than the 33-6 record Kerr himself compiled that year when he was able to coach), what does that say about Mike Brown?
Dude is criminally underpaid now LOLAlways liked Keon, but I had no idea he was this level player

You have spokenDEMAR MY FAVORITE KING DC MY FAVORITE COACH THIS IS MY FAVORITE TEAM
I still have hopes from Colby. Issac has also shown promise in the limited chances he has received. Not all that long ago, he wasn’t. He’s been developed. He’ll be 25 years old on Wednesday. Over the past 2 and 1/2 years he’s managed to work his way up from a 2-way contract player to where he is now. Lots of hard work put in by himself and the org.
Among the many knocks on this org by the fan base here at KF’s has been the lack of success from the player development side. Well, Keon’s development from undrafted player to a pivotal rotation piece is huge step in the right direction. Hopefully they’re able to develop a few more of those types of players.
That’s cool thing about having DeMar, Monk and Fox. There’s only so much a team can do to plan for Keon, as he’s going to get plenty of good looks playing with those guys + he’s showing the ability to create his own.Honestly, not to rain on the parade but jury is still out. No team out there is prepping for Keon Ellis that hard. Although you'll never be able to take his defense intensity away.
a freaking miracle and we’re just getting into our stride in early January. I’m cautiously optimistic now, bordering on delusional bliss..5 out of the play-in and 2.5 from 6
Couple of random thoughts:
1. I hope the players take the DPOG in a light-hearted and non-serious way. Singling out one individual over several deserving recipients can end up being demoralizing to the "losers"...even though they are not really losers. This kind of thing has to be handled very delicately.
2. The resurgence of this team under Coach Christie makes Monte's job incredibly complex. His efforts to acquire player(s) to alleviate areas of need are going to involve other teams asking for "throw-ins" that have proven to be vital for the current success of the team. The inclusion of Keon, Keegan, DeRozan, Monk, and/or Carter in trades would launch a revolt of fans of Biblical proportions. Fox, Huerter, Lyles, and end-of-bench players are expected departures, but the trading partners are going to want so much more to sweeten the deals beyond just picks. Good luck, Monte.
