Actually, to me, most of the crowd seemed a little quiet most of the game (first half and into the third), but it picked up in the 3rd Q when we started playing better.
The KingsFans.com folks were pretty loud! My wife asked if I brought earplugs. 
I saw what seemed to me to be a lot of empty seats scattered about. Wasn't watching to see if they filled up and emptied later, just seemed that I could actually see some chairs here and there most of the game.

Lots of scattered seats that were never filled. Actually, we got an email from the Kings org. yesterday talking about the excitement of opening day & it said that tickets were still available.. that's got to be a first!
My section was pretty loud early on & then got quiet until the 3rd. Lots of people left early, which is typical for a game tht is under control, but surprised me since it was opening night.
We had a great time, as always!! I love this team!
