Yep. That's what bajaden and I were debating - whether Vlade should fold or insist on a FULL bag of chips. (Bajaden wanted Cheetos.)

Hmm I more of a cheeseburger guy, but I'm a little curious on what the offers may have been.

The return would have to be bad fit or bad money most likely.

The problem with Marco is that he really LOOKS like just the guy WE need. Its not like his a bad fitting piece that can swap out for a better fitting piece. He's just an underperforming piece. We could easily trade him someplace and watch him bounce right back to being exactly what we need. And its hard to convince other teams to trade him for a similar piece who oh, just happens to be playing better than Marco.

I cannot for the life of me think of a GM in this league who thinks Marco Bellinelli could be the key to his team's success going into the playoffs. And, if teams were calling, you'd think the Kings would be playing Marco less, since his value is already approaching left-over garlic fries.

I took a look at a shot chart posted here recently from this year, then I compared it to one from last season.

Just a general decline in efficiency. I think he's having trouble with Rondo finding his spots, which is odd as Rondo seems to be helping others efficiency, and Collison hasn't been a good fit either. I think its our offense and not enough ball movement to find him set.

But oddly enough it works for Omri.

The curls, and his personal movement without the ball to shoot a quick shot isn't working.

There's probably something else I'm not seeing too.

Defensively though Brick, terrible is terrible.
 
Would love to see him try get George Hill maybe a three way deal sending Rondo/Rudy to ATL and Teague to Indy as well as other decent pieces to us/Indy
 
If Orlando makes moves and Oladipo is available, I'd be open to trading for him. Obviously not Cousins or WCS. Would like to keep Casspi and Darren (both great contracts). Everything else is up for trade. I think Oladipo would be great on the Kings. Defensive player. Can have big games and can take over. Can handle the ball a little. Can play off ball. There's maybe 3-4 all-star level shooting guards out there. Oladipo can be that level of player. (All-star not superstar.)

Like Fournier as well, but I would be more careful what I trade for him.
 
I think Courtney Lee would fit this team perfectly. A classic 3 and D guy at the 2. Plays good perimeter D, stays out of the way offensively and just uses what he is given in terms of shots.

When I read that I was so happy. I'd love to see him go to a functional organization and have a coach that can give him a specific role. He'd be killer for the Cavs. Problem is that the Cavs don't have any pieces that the Kings need (that the Cavs would be willing to part with that is).

If this is a serious question, the answer is no.

For one thing, Cleveland's pick is already going to Phoenix (1-10 protected, but obviously it's going).

But as to the larger question of whether we can acquire somebody else's pick and substitute it for our own that we owe to Chicago, no. They have a claim on our pick, not any other picks we might acquire.

I suppose it would be possible that we could acquire a pick (say in the 15-20 range) and trade it to Chicago for our conditional pick. Obviously, a straight trade like that wouldn't happen if our pick falls out of the protected range this year, because one of the teams would clearly lose the trade. But either at the deadline (i.e. before it is known whether we will convey this year) or before the draft (if we keep our pick this year), both teams might see an advantage in hedging their bets, so I guess not impossible.
 
No way the Cavs give up Shump and Moz for B-MAc and KK. Shump is a proven defender with proven experience. Moz is about the same level as KK right now. But Moz has a better offensive game.
