^I think you may be right, the Kings do have Bird rights for Bonzi and thus could exceed the cap to re-sign him. I think I was confused by the Mobley situation last year. Could the Kings have theoretically signed him but opted not to go as high as the Clippers?

We have Bonzi's rights and we had Cuttinos too. We just chose not to sign him. Bonzi is in the last year of a long term contract. He's ours if we want him. Don't worry.
