Webber being booed by 76ers fans LOUD

They should boo Iverson. 9 of 24 shooting and TWELVE (12) turnovers.
Yep, exactly. I was about to say the same thing. Iverson is cancer....he will never win a title. He is nothing but a selfish ballhog that has never seen a shot he doesn't like. I bet most of his teammates would agree with this statement, but they're afraid to speak up. Just look at what his former teammates are saying(KT, Pharoah, Corliss).

Philly fans should also Boo O'Brien...his coaching decisions have been questionable to say the least.

Sixers are falling apart...i'm glad we traded Cwebb...let him jack up bricks in Philly. I like Cwebb, but he is close to useless now, he doesn't have much left in his tank, he is a liability on both defense and offense as well. Plus he has a big mouth...all of the above spell doom for the sixers.

When the trade happened i was furious. I thought that KT, Skinner, and Corliss were nothing but a bunch of scrubs, well i'm glad i was wrong and i'll eat my words. They were simply not utilized properly in Philly.

I love it when people say they like Webber and then proceed to attempt to eviscerate him.

Close to useless? Not much left in his tank? How interesting. And how very, very odd that his season stats for 2004-2005 while with the Sacramento Kings told such a different story.

If you're going to always dump on him, at least be honest about it.

i don't think this whole Iverson/Webb thing would be an issue if say someone like Larry Brown was the coach...just my two cents

i think Jim is the most at fault

I feel completely vindicated in my disdain for Eastern Conference basketball and their "superstars" (read: Pierce, Carter, Walker and AI above all). If you cannot get value out of Webber as a 2nd option, then you shouldn't be coaching (O"Brien) or getting paid (AI). Dissgusting.

Come on! We eviscerated Webber on a weekly basis because he gave us 20-10-5 and it wasn't "enough".

This is not on Chris. This is on O'Brien (eedjet) and AI (*******). I hate pick-and-roll, but even an idiot can see that AI and Chris could run pick-and-roll 30 times a game like Nash and Nowicki used to and at least get the team in position to contest games.

Wasn't AI the one who cried for another prolific player to help him with Philly? Slow down dude, look up and play BASKETBALL!!!

Iverson has great "stats" as well. Look at our record over the last few years without Cwebb in the lineup. If he is such a great player, (the key word here is "IS") then why is our record better with him out of the lineup??

No Bobby. injuries and a difficult scheduel, but you have been around here long enough to hear these arguments.

funny? how so?
Funny to me because a lot of media folks and Philly fans were so jazzed that Webber and Iverson were going to be this awesome super duo. Yet it's sad because Webb's being booed already.

^^ oh my god. this has been discussed about a million times already.

it is a very debatable discussion wherein the answer is not simple and it will be hard to change people's opinion on it. okay. just keep believing that we were better without chris. bottomline is: chris made the kings relevant. (i've been hearing that a lot. ESPN, some members sigs, etc. and i agree.)

We weren't talking about Iverson. I was talking about Webber's production this year. Hate all you like, but at least be man enough to call it what it is...

I thought I couldn't get any sadder than when Webb got traded, but to see him treated this way just breaks my heart. Keep your head up Webb, and try to get OUT of Philly ASAP!!

^^ mike's stats are up, in fact he's having a career year, but team wins are down. so mike sucks, i guess. let's go trade him.
