Watch Kings Media Day Live Today!

Ah I'll be fast asleep. Can someone help me pose this question (I'm assuming the session will be uploaded later) - "Does the coaching staff think that playing Tyreke next to Beno or Jeter will take away the advantage of Tyreke's size, since the other team will likely just put their SG on Reke? If so, how do they think they can make use of Tyreke's size advantage at the PG position without allowing opposing teams to simply do that?" - Michael

Thanks to whoever helps me ask this, if indeed someone does ask it on my behalf. I think it's something we'd all like to know, since Westphal has spoken of using beno with Tyreke in the starting line up

I'll ask it if I remember to be there :)

Nothing too earth shattering thus far. Beno, Omri and Tyreke have all spent about 5 min answering questions from fans via twitter and facebook.

The only things that have stuck out to me is Omri saying that who ever starts will be the best player. Tyreke saying he'll probably beat Cousins in number of dunks because DMC can't even get off the ground and that this can be his team if it needs to be (he answered this question weird.)

Whiteside is up right now--He's gained A LOT of weight this summer and that he just beat Tyreke in Horse the other day.

Things got a little funny when the guys started crashing the interviews. You can tell these guys really get a long and genuinely like each other. Its nice to see. To quote Cousins when asked about the team chemistry even away from the cameras "we're always having fun and that's a nice start" :)

Anyone that didn't see JT, Pooh, Donte, and Cuz alltogether behind the camera, just missed one funny scene. Cousins is one funny dude. So is Jeter.. That was a lot of fun to watch..

Thanks for expanding on what happened Mr. Retiree-Living-The-Good-Life-Rubbing-Salt-In-Wounds.

Are they going to put the video for this up on youtube?
Probably, the Kings love their social media. Plus the interviews were only about 5 min long, perfect for youtube...well, except when Donte, Demarcus, JT, Pooh Jeter and Dalembert were on.

Its a tough job, but someone has to do it. Pooh and Cousins were very funny together. Especially when they asked Cousins what he thought of the huge poster of him and Tyreke. Pooh jumped in and said, Bro, do you realize thats you up there! Cousins said that it was weird driving up everyday and seeing himself on the side of the building. But he appreciated them doing it. The nickname that Beno likes is "One B". Or his name backwards. Funny I don't think I ever heard that one before. Dalembert is pretty funny as well. He said the Kings were going to have a block party this season. Cisco said he was taking both Cousins and Pooh under his wing this year. He said both came to sacramento early, and have been working out hard. He said he runs into Cousins at the practice facility at night all the time working out and lifting weights.

When asked who was the best dancer on the team, Cousins said he was. When Cousins first walked up they gave him the mike and he did what I think was something like a Tarzan call. He did it twice. Donte was laughing so hard he got up and left. Hopefully they'll put some of the videos on the Kings video site...

Andew did a good job keeping his composure with all the chaos going around! hahaha.

Anyone else notice how huge Donte looked? Looked like he bulked up quite a bit.

Tyreke's still gotta work on his talking.. and did anyone else notice the cut in the middle of Beno's interview? I wonder who went off on who, maybe the interviewer was asking beno if he was understanding his questions because i don't think he did.

Ah, a shame my question didn't get asked. Oh well.

Anyway, what I liked most is how almost everyone said "defence wins championships". To me that just shows how committed our young guys are to playing D, which is pretty rare in the NBA. Usually young guys want to come in and score a lot and be on highlight reels. That, and it's a huge change in the team's philosophy. Awesome.

lol cant believe andrew read my question
i am the guy who asked landry about his number :]
