I think they consider the playoffs to be "more serious" than the regular summer league. I suppose the argument is that teams in the semis/finals are trying to win, while in the regular season you might be trying to get a look at a player and don't want them to get disqualified too easily.

Yeah the shot isn't consistent yet, and he gets sloppy, but he's shown this entire SL he can bend the defense and touch the paint. That's step 1 to being a star
