Trade Proposal

DoDiGaG0

Bench
Washington Sends:

PF Etan Thomas
PG Antonio Daniels
PF Michael Ruffin
06-07 First round selection

Sacramento Sends:

SG Bonzi Wells(S&T)
PF Kenny Thomas

third team could prolly take Thomas(maybe NJN)

this realllly helps Washington because they get a tough defensive minded guy who will add toughness to the team and can score on the block, they will prolly lose Jeffries because of the lux cap so this will help them not be over the lux cap)

Washington lineup

PG - Arenas
SG - Wells
SF - Butler
PF - Jamison
C - Haywood

that makes the team quite a bit better than last season

for the kings

we get rid of KT's contract, get a decent defense minded big who also has a bad contract, BUT we nail a good backup PG

Does the team have to include the first rouder?

I'd take it. Get rid of Kenny and get something in return for a leaving Bonzi. The team would get a player to complement Miller, and an expiring contract.

I'd do that in a flash. 1st rounder or not.

Actually think the Wiz line-up would be:

Arenas
Wells
Jamison
KT
Haywood

Butler can come off the bench and play SF or SG, he did for a lot of last season, and was a great 6th man for them.

If you could save that deal from the Bonzi mess, you just do it. Of course then the backcourt is more crowded then ever, but at least now we'd be adding a proven quality backup type. We'd still be losing talent, but mayeb getting back pieces that would fit.

Thing is, think it is highly doubtful that the Wizards would trade both Thomas AND Ruffin -- that's all their banging and hustle right there. And funny as it may sound, they've always badly overestimated Ruffin and love him as a modern version of Charles Jones (an old 80's/early 90's untalented scrub big they had for years + years), so think he would be the bigger problem than Etan.

Wasnt Charles Jones like 50 when he finally retired??

edit: Okay, just checked the Wiki, he was only 41...but he looked and played like he was 50.:D
