Oh, sorry to hear that. I guess when it rains, it pours. Here is a video of a kitty that finds a cigarette and doesn't want to give it up, to make you happy again.

I saw that, I don't know whether to laugh or thing how cruel that is!

After my whole driving life of being completely ticket and traffic violation free, I have now gotten three tickets within the last 2 weeks.

FML

Wow that sucks Reina. I got popped a few months ago via photo radar on a side street that serves as a freeway entrance and ruined what had been a perfect record since my early 20s. In Oregon they don't even let us do driving school for that and I had to waste two days in court to meet the officer and make a reduced settlement. I asked the officer at the court date why they don't just turn on the red light traffic control system 24/7 if this street is such a problem and he said it was because people just ran through it. Seems like it would be more fair to ticket people for running red lights then going 35 in a 25 100ft away from the correct spot to merge onto a freeway.

3 tickets will be tough to get any sympathy from the system but here's to hoping you can get a decent outcome out of this.

Had a small fire at my company yesterday - a desk fan in an office shorted and lit up around lunchtime. Fire and smoke damage was essentially restricted to one room as the fire sprinkler put it out quickly. However that one sprinkler damaged or affected about 20% of the building (the damaged office was on the second floor) and half the building now smells like humid smoke. Fans and dehumidifiers everywhere trying to dry the place out. Noisy, smelly, and humid in my office. Ugh.

Just popping in after along and winding absence. Total lurker now btw. Not that my fandom has died, but life changing events tend to take months to evolve and settle :)

Cool name change Ryan

I really hope Ryan also gets with a Ty of his own. Hilarity ensues.

LOL, He can have mine!

I was just at the teamstore, and can you believe that they've had days where there have been no sales since the city found out the team wouldn't be moving?

Q. What's worse than driving eighty-five miles, one way, to see a twenty-minute performance by your son's band?

A. Driving eighty-five miles, one way, to see a twenty-minute performance by your son's band, and not actually getting to see any of it, because you got held up in traffic.

Just saying a prayer for Joplin, MO, especially as my wife has lots of family in the Springfield, Sparta, Nixa, and Neosho areas. Haven't heard of any family members directly affected so far.

I will keep them in my thoughts, Warhawk.

So sorry Slim. I know how bad that can feel. :(

Thoughts and prayers headed that way. Hope everyone stays safe.

Discussing sports with a Lakers fan is like discussing books with someone who doesn't know how to read. Sometimes I wonder why I even try

Sounds like everyone we know is fine. We were very glad to hear that.
I'm glad to hear that, too, Warhawk. What an awful tragedy for Joplin and all the other people who have suffered due to this bad tornado season and the flooding rivers in the midwest. :(
