For years, my polling place has been a block away from my house, so I would just walk there. It's a good thing I checked my sample ballot as it was far enough away that I had to drive. The weird thing is, my original polling place was open today still...what's up with that?

When I voted yesterday, I was the only voter at the place. This polling place was run by a bunch of kids who looked no older than high school. They kept goofing off the whole time I was voting.

I just realised I went out to lunch Thursday and except for a couple of cookies and some chips, I haven't eaten since.:eek: Usually I would get an awful headache but I've just had no appetite lately. Oh well it wouldn't hurt to lose a few pounds anyway.

Attended the Day in the Zone concert yesterday and had a blast. Of course it didn't get really fun until INXS took the stage. What a great concert they put on!! Everyone was so energetic. Loved dancing around to 'Kick'. Another great artist there was Switchfoot. They put on a great show as well and really bantered with the audience. Now I'm back at work and my life is boring again....

that reminds me about the guy on Food Network who put a wrapped package of Peeps in a microwave and nuked them on high. The resulting expolsion was impressive! It was sort of like watching Jiffy Pop, but much stickier!
