Man, I have a two-TV setup and I still didn’t bother turning on Peacock last night for Survivor Series. WWE is doing a great job killing any remaining interest I have in their product. I’ve dealt with the mediocre programming for awhile but these constant mass releases are really making it hard to care. Why should I? Dudes I enjoy (mostly Swerve from these last ones) are just going to keep getting axed for no reason at all.
NXT Takeover (ITS STILL TAKEOVER TO ME) WarGames was some good old-school black & gold level goodness.
Both War Games absolutely brought it, Cora Jade can be an AJ Lee type face, the non-War matches were solid, and the Men’s WarGames was match of the night. Other than Waller (who can go, but annoys the bell out of me) I legit dig all the 2.0 talent. Breakker is going to be huge. Melo needed this heel turn like no other and Trick’s a solid wingman despite being green as grass. D’Angelo didn’t do much but his crowbar super neckbreaker was great! LA Knight was a shockingly good babyface.
I hope I get to enjoy these people grow and they don’t get needlessly and randomly Budget Cutter’d at some point in the near future.

She’s a lady who came in with so much hype, I wanted to be a fan … but I just couldn’t get into her in any of her stops. NXT UK, NXT, and (unsurprisingly) main roster. Maybe it’s just a weird anti-fit thing and she gets back to what gave her that hype when she arrived.
I wonder if more people are going to up and ask out now that Toni’s done it. The sheets say they granted her request partially because it would have been bad optics to “Budget Cut” so many people but not someone who was asking out.

From what I've read, she just worked the triple threat at a house show then paid out of her own pocket to fly herself home. "It's f*cking wild. She's just gone. Didn't really tell anyone." according to Sapp's report from an unnamed female WWE talent.
I don't follow WWE anymore but didn't she just pin Charlotte Flair like a week ago?

Two weeks ago, maybe. She lost her most recent match against Charlotte.
Also, and these things may not be in any way related, but someone on the wrestling board I post at pointed out that WWE announced that they had stopped their COVID testing, and she quit, the next day. I think that it was probably the booking but, as conspiracy theories go, it's certainly not the dumbest one you could believe in.

I think she had a fantastic look and should have been a star by WWE standards but WWE didn't use her particularly well at any stop.
If it's a COVID thing which seems highly plausible on WWE's side, it seems equally plausible that an Aussie would revolt that way. And if WWE has really stopped testing I'm speechless.

Mustafa Ali requested his release today. What a dropped ball. Part of the reason I was so bitter at Kofi was him taking Ali’s spot because of his ill-timed black eye knocking him out of events for awhile while he was in the midst of his only real push. Never recovered.
