The Onion skewered the Kings this weekend

Weird timing, IMO:

SAN ANTONIO—Performing with rare efficiency and startling precision, the otherwise struggling Sacramento Kings perfectly executed their offense against the Spurs Friday, when the team ran a flawless throw-the-ball-out-of-bounds play. “John Salmons threw it out to the wing, [Jason] Thompson passes it me, and I send it right over DeMarcus Cousins’ head out of bounds,” said guard Tyreke Evans, who also contributed a textbook shoulder shrug and head shake to the play. “It was a huge confidence builder to have everything go as planned. We might try something more complicated where the center sets a pick, rolls to the left, and I dribble the ball off my foot.” At press time, Kings head coach Keith Smart was working with players on a new call-a-timeout-when-we-have-none-left play.

It would be better humor if it didn't end with a decades-old Webber crack about the timeout call at Michigan, suggesting the writer(s) only knows now-inapplicable superficial impressions of the Kings.
But they at least got the personnel right, and highlights the absurdly-bad offense of the Kings (other than 3 of the past 4 games).

There's enough room for satire with Smart's inexplicable coaching decisions to make a much funnier article, though.

Was hilarious I thought... I didn't take the old "time out" remark too hard (and I'll basically fight anybody who disses Chris Webber). I just thought it was a funny and timely roast and... any publicity is good publicity.

I saw that on the Onion's twitter feed a couple of days ago-- perhaps not so timely considering the offense has been pretty sharp over the last week, but thought it was pretty funny. Around the same time, the Onion also posted a story about Dennis Rodman becoming buddies with Kim Jong Un. Which I thought was pretty funny as well. Then I saw it wasn't a satire piece and it really happened.
