Suns - Kings

Smills91

Starter
Kings deal: Carl Landry

Suns deal: Jared Dudley and Earl Clark

Why for the Kings - With a crowded frontcourt, moving the expiring Landry for cheaper, useful pieces is a no-brainer. Clark can take some back-up minutes at the 4 and Dudley could be a nice defensive ace in the hole type that can spread the floor to play the swingman position.

Why for the Suns - They get a legit 4 on their roster to move Hedo back down to his traditional 3 spot while giving Nash a legit post threat to feed the ball into.

Kings new roster:

C: Daly, Cousins, Whiteside
PF: Thompson, Clark, Jackson
SF: Dundley, Omri, Greene
SG: Tyreke, Garcia, Wright
PG: Beno, Head, Jeter

Clark at the 4 is meh.
Dudley however is a nice piece that is underrated I think at times. The way Landry is playing lately a trade with the bases of Landry for Dudley + xxx might have some grounds. Dudley can defend and shoot.

you mean trade half our roster for him?
Correct me if I am wrong. I think we can probably acquire Nash and absorb his salary without going over the salay cap and without having to lose much of our core players. We have one of the lowest team salary and again (correct me if I am wrong) there are rumors that Phoenix can afford to lose Nash. Phoenix has another very good and very young point guard on their roster.

You get Nash and our BIGS will fluorish. Beno plainly sucks when it comes to involving our BIGS in offense and Evans just doesn't have the point guard skills yet needed to be able to maximize the talents of our BIGS in offense. We don't use Evans as our primary PG now anyways. Nash can do the play-making and Evans can concentrate with scoring. Also, with a big name and veteran point guard like Nash around maybe coach Westphal will change his style of usage of our BIGS.

They can have Beno, Cisco, and Landry in exchange for Nash.:p

Everyone in this thread needs to stop and think.

There is nothing and nobody on Phoenix that can help us/improve us in any significant or long term way. Nash is a silly proposition, and the rest are a bunch of middling SFs with numbers inflated because of his presence.

There's so many things wrong with these statements. It's factually incorrect. You were also the guy naysaying the likes of the Afflalo's and Lee's of the league. I guess a guy like Afflalo wouldn't help us either....

Whats with all the Arron Affalo love? I remember him as just some scrub on the Pistons but ever since he's been in Denver everyone around here views him as god...

>>i don't think nash is the solution to our problems. yes, hes a good floor general. how many years do you realistically think he has left in the tank? is it worth designing our game plan around a guy who will not be around in a yr or 2? i believe he is like 35 or 36 already.

>>>trading assets for a quick fix. cool, we are looking to the future of this franchise with this kind of move. we've been there with SAR, Mikki Moore and all those other patches the past few years. thanks, but really, no, thanks.

1 guy views him as a god. Don't get confused.

But he has upped his play this year.

Who might that be? I view him a superfluous FIT next to Tyreke in our backcourt. His play this year has justified that position even more. Don't downplay it now, because AA is proving you wrong by his play.
