Summer League player watch

It looks like Sherron Collins had a great game today. And currently, Coby Karl is beasting, lol.

Well, 10 minutes later Coby Karl is showing he true colors. He's playing horribly. Ty Lawson is the one who's beasting.

Matt Janning = beast.

Caracter just pulled off an incredible move in the post while being triple teamed. He's having a strong game so far.

I think he looked better than Monroe. So glad we passed on him.
And yes it looks like the Rockets got a good one in Patterson. Showed off some perimeter shooting.

I'm happening to be in Vegas till thursday ... wahahahaha .. maybe i should go to the Kings game with my kings jersey and check it out... take some videos ...

I think Mustafa Shakur should get a camp invite (again) he looked great today, 21pts, 5rebs, 5asts, 5stls, 1blk shot 60% fg and 50% 3pt.

when he is getting steady mins he is playing well, being 6'3" I think he is worth a 2nd look.

I thought he looked good when we had him. He is an above average defender he is quick and can get to the rim. I think his perimeter shooting leaves a little to be desired thought not awful but not consistent.

Did anyone watch the Nets play yesterday? I didn't get to see it because a stupid power outage took place during the game. How did Favors look? I know he put up good stats.

He's looked just OK in all the games so far. He's a project for the future. Defensively I think he played pretty good. Offensively he has a lot of work to do. But hey, he's only 18 yr's old. I don't see him having an immediate short term impact on the Nets. But I think at some point during the season he'll start to get it together. If the Kid could grow another inch of two, he could definitely play some center.

Yeah, I definitely see him as an early Dwight Howard sort of player at this point with a slightly more developed offensive game, which isn't saying much considering Dwight still lacks much of an offensive repertoire

I was impressed with his touch around the basket, and he looks like a very willing passer out there. I was disappointed with help D at times though. His man to man is very good.

PHX is making a mistake by playing Matt Janning at SG (and making him guard Sonny Weems no less). Matt Janning is a PG.

Also, Toronto put up 100+ points in a 40 minute summer league game. Lol.

Cancer has really carved into George Karl... He's lost a lot of weight.

Antonio Anderson had a good game, then a bad game, and today he kinda wasn't even getting involved at all. I don't remember him being so passive, but maybe they wanted to get a look at a couple other players so they told him not to touch the ball much or something.

Summer league is tough. The guards tend to dominate the ball and in many cases they're trying to impress all the GM's and coaches in the house. If you don't get the ball its hard to do much other than play defense. By and large I think most of the GM's know what Anderson can and can't do. I think he'll make someone's roster at some point. I think he deserves an invite to a training camp. He's definitely talented enough to play in the NBA.

Another reason why it was good that Petrie signed Sloan. He will be more willing to run the offense and feed the post some.

He's also very small...looks even smaller than Nate Robinson!

Believe it or not he's about an inch taller than Robinson. Robinson is very stocky though and Randle isn't, which I think makes him look small. He's a tough little guy though.

wow are you serious? He looks tiny out there. thanks for clarifying.

I really hate how PHX plays Matt Janning at SG next to a tiny guard. However I do like Scottie Reynolds (he doesn't look 6'2 though...). He and Lawal have a connection out there lol.

Bledsoe vs. Wall. Should be a great matchup. I wish we could have got him. Bledsoe already showed he can stay in front of Wall. (forcing Wall to shoot a floater.)

Christian Eyenga looks awesome. I hope he eventually comes over to the NBA and is successful. His name is just to cool to fail. I have to add that I like Danny Green as well. The cavs do have a little rebuilding core going.

PG - Eyenga - Green - Hickson - C
