BTW he has outplayed Tim Duncan tonight.
Yep, no doubt. Maybe that will shut people up for a while. No, I'm sure they'll find something to complain about. Seriously, I get a little irritated by the crap that CWebb has to put up with. Couldn't believe the fans reaction at Arco when he went up for that shot at the end.

Just guessing you never served in the milatary.
Not that I am agreeing or disagreeing with Pop getting in Manu's face, but I did serve in the military. The difference here is that is the military there are not thousands and thousands of people watching your superiors yell at you.

Thanks , ther'es a lot of people on this board who would've been groanin when Webb took(and hit) that shot, But I wouldn't be one of them. He's hit Key shot, after Key shot after Key shot this year. Some people never learn...

huh-Webber 7 turnovers. Oh well, a wins a win
Webber also managed to shut Tim Duncan completely out of the picture. He had a double-double, with 7 assists, 4 blocks and 3 steals. At least two of the turnovers attributed to him were basically because the person he was passing to wasn't getting to the ball quickly enough.

*Sigh* I don't even know why you try Vf, Some of these people can't see how awesome a basketball player Chris is no matter how many games he wins for them.

Well shut Duncan down as well as you can shut him down. Webb's game statistcally wasn't much better than Duncans'. Webb played great in all the little things that matter in the long haul.

How many F'in Big game shots does this guy have to make? They crowd visibly moaned when Chris took that shot... They have sucked all night for the most part being quiet when the Kings needed them, and then give nothing but negative energy on a crucial shot? Good job all you fans who think Webb can't hit big shots... eat it!
hopefully this should put to rest any argument made for it ever being a "good" thing to boo one of your own players. i seriously doubt it though.

duncan:
6-17fgs
2-6 FTs
11 rebs
4 assists
3 steals
3 TOs
1 blk
14 points

webb:
6-15 fgs
2-2 FTs
13 rebs
7 assists
4 steals
7 TOs
3 blks
14 points

webb outplayed duncan.. no matter by how little he outplayed duncan, bottomline is, he still did.. what more could you ask for?

What are you talking about? Webb held Duncan to well below his season average in points and played some of the best defense on Duncan I have ever seen. Who cares that they had almost an identical stat line. Chris is a great player but he is not the perinial MVP candidate. I will take a not so productive offensive night from CWebb if he can shut down people like Duncan or KG on a nightly basis.

What, now Chris can't just play as well as Duncan, he must play better? What garbage to expect anyone to play better than a 2 time MVP. Well, fact of the matter is, he did play better. Not only that, he led his team to victory. Duncan's team lost. Nuff said.

Not only did Webber beat TD in a one on one, he made his team better. The assists, blocked shots and cluth shots made say alot, the way the rest ot the Kigs took advantage of the doubles on Webber speakes volumes.

word. webber had a great game. people who only look at his point total and scoff are missing the bigger picture. if webber isnt a scoring machine on a given night, if his shots arent automatic and he's having trouble getting to the basket, then there are other things he can be doing. 14 points 13 rebounds 7 assists 4 steals and 3 blocks in 35 minutes--while at the same time managing to shut down the best PF in the nba today--is nothing to scoff at.
