Either you have forgotten or never saw Duane Causwell. He had the worst hands I have ever seen, and there isn't even a close second.

How can anything we do next year make us " In deep trouble " ..
The Joe Klein fan club was going to lodge a protest also, but then they remembered it was a vision problem that led to Joe's seemingly bad hands.Olden Polynice is lodging a protest.![]()
Training camp in a few weeks is going to decide A LOT . First, who starts. Mikki has PF starting job currently - so it's his to lose. If he loses it (no great surprise), then it would be between JT and Williams. I think that JT may very well earn the job in camp or sometime during the season. Any showcasing of Williams during the season (not that he hasn't already been showcased in Atlanta/Sac) is probably more as trade bait, just as if Mikki loses the job he could be traded. Of course, one of them (Williams or Mikki) is needed off the bench assuming KT and SAR remain missing in action.
Kings starting line-up 2008 - or at least into 2009:
PG Beno Udrih
SG Kevin Martin
C Brad Miller
SF John Salmons
PF Jason Thompson
Bench mob
PG Bobby Brown/Bobby Jackson
SG Francisco Garcia (also SF)
C Spencer Hawes
SF Donte Greene
PF Mikki Moore/Shelden Williams
MIA
Kenny Thomas
S. Abdur Raheem
Well where does Douby fit in here? Do you think he will be 13th guy and join KT and SAR on inactive list? I guess there will be a battle to see who makes the active roster. Except Brad will be gone for 5 games to start the season. For first 5 games does Brad end up on inactive list so Douby and Sheldon can both be on active roster or does suspension limit active roster to 11 players? Once Brad is back, somebody will have to join KT and SAR on inactive. I guess it will be the player amoung the 13 that is the most banged up at any point?
I sort of forgot Douby - but then again maybe he's the forgotten man for Kings 08-09. I think Douby is on the bubble for sure to make or at least stay on active roster.
Indeed. It is a Doubyous situation.![]()
The Kings can't send him down to the D-League anymore. NBA teams can only send down rookies and sophomores.D-League Douby - might be best for him. He could "maybe" learn to play PG which is probably the only way he's going to be NBA material.
CruzDude;
5 Brad - Hawes
4 Mikki - Thompson, Williams (KT, SAR?)
3 Salmons - Garcia, Green
2 Kevin - BJax, Douby
1 Beno - Brown
you feel pretty good when you start from the bottom. when you hit number 3 the stomach gets tighter. # 4 on up and you're regurgitating

Is that some new rule? Dahntay Jones was in the D-League last season and he would not be considered a rook or soph (drafted by Celtics 2003). Mikki Moore was with Roanoke in 2002-03 (first playing for Pistons 1998-2002). That would put both of them in the developmental league at around 27-28 years of age.

Douby was drafted b/c we had two other NYC products in Artest and Cisco. If you get enough NY products, chances are, one will be very good at playing ball. It's an odds game. Petrie was playing the odds, and in regards to Douby, he lost...so far. Douby is far from proving himself completely worthless. I an eager to see if he can make a difference this year, b/c if he can't, next year is a team option. And that would mean no more Doobie. For Douby to succeed, BJAX needs to convince him to lift wieghts like his life and butt depended on it.
I think it's safe to say that Douby being from NY had absolutely nothing to do with the reason the Kings drafted him. More like thinking he could actually "shoot the lights out", but that's another story.
douby sucks.... plain and simple...

I think the kings will find themselves in the most trouble if they dont see what they have with there oldest of the youngins (Williams, Douby )
Douby is an undersized SG that can shoot the lights out, but he won't get many minutes behind Martin. Douby's defense would also be suspect guarding larger SGs.
I am a big fan of Williams, and have wanted him here since he was in college. I got my wish, but I am not sure he is fit for this team. He's just an average defender (not living up to his 'landlord' name) a slightly above average rebounder, well below average scorer, and hasn't really improved since coming into the league. Also he has had weight issues.
Not sure what you are expecting from those two, but I think three years in the league is enough to gauge if a player can help your team.. Maybe they can go somewhere else and do a bit more i.e. Wallace, but for this team it's obvious with the draft picks, and the PT these two have got that they are not really meant for this "rebuild".
