Hey Guys! I just wanted to introduce myself on the board! I am a new Kings fan, well since SS was picked up by the Kings. I live in Richmond, VA and have been a wahoo all my life and spent alot of time the last four years watching SS play. I have always been a big SS fan and hes a great kid and think can do some great things with the Kings in due time. I look forward to the board and the Kings and their team's success this year. Should be fun!

Cool. Welcome aboard. I'm looking forward to seeing your boy being some spark off the bench this year. I have a feeling Kings fans will really love this guy.

Yeah Sean is a very likeable kid....he did some amazing things in the ACC...his work ethic though is tough to come by, he's a blue collar guy when it comes to preparing and getting better....I have been watching a few of his games and he does look very comfortable so far, but what has got me is that Sean isnt taking his shots, he is passing a lot and I think trying to prove himself that way...once he starts firing a little more and relaxes, watch out, cause the kid can stroke it.....not knowing much about the Kings lately, doing the research, I like Kevin Martin...didnt realize he had those good of years the last two....I think the team can be really good...we gotta be able to get production from the frontcourt....

Welcome.

I also look forward to seeing Sean on the court. His ability to pass is what gives him an edge for minutes over Douby. And considering that Theus is the kind of coach that rewards hard work and effort, we should be seeing Sean sooner than later.

Thanks Guys! Yeah Douby looks to be a pure two guard, from my opinion....glad to hear Theus is like that.....what is yalls overall opinion of Theus? The team?

Welcome man! am i excited to see SS play.. i sure hope he makes it in the team but judging on how he performs im pretty sure he will

theus....

well hes a pretty charismatic guy, knows how to talk to the media... in his first year got the most out of his players, im guessing with the trend, the team will improve,

we won 5 more games than Muss era, just when the west got competitive again, beat almost every playoff team, only to lose a few gimme games via meltdowns.. and a few injuries in between

so im guessing theus did a pretty good job,

Welcome to the board. I wouldn't worry about the lounge at this point. I like what I've seen for SS so far. I watched some of his games last year, and I was surprised that he hasn't shot the ball much. Its funny because, as I'm sure you know, the rap on him was that he was a shoot first and pass second point guard. Of course last year he didn't have much talent around him, so he had to shoot.

Welcome to the board! I left this thread in the main forum because he's actually talking about the team, not just saying hello.

:)

Howdy and welcome to our site. Please feel free to comment whenever one of us "Left Coast" types says things about SS that you know to be different. That stimulates dialog and is the main reason for the threads-blogs. FYI, here is a photo of SS playing like an extra shirt of Jarred Bayless at a summer league game this week. But in the second half they figured out SS defense and pick-and-rolled him the entire second half. Then SS spent much of the time as an extra shirt smacked onto the side of one of their bigs.

Question, Dude... Are his legs really that skinny? He looks like Keon Clark's body double from that picture.

Thanks guys, and thanks VF21 for the email and thread change, I was unaware. Yes Singletary's ankles are pretty skinny, he is one of the strongest guys pound for pound in the league though, during draft tryouts he posted I believe 21 reps at 185, something like 5 better than Joey Dorsey. SS seems to be trying to prove everyone wrong about his passing ability, he didnt have anyone last year and still averaged 6 assists if we had a better frontcourt that couldve caught the ball he could have averaged a double double almost.......a good story about singletary, he actually played ball at the same high school as Atlanta (BC) quarterback Matt Ryan, last year at the ACC football press conference said that if he wasnt throwing to Singletary(who was a wide receiver/db) he wouldnt have gotten a college scholarship.....hes a tough philly kid who will work at all cost......im looking forward to the Kings success and chatting up some bball.....

Also, Bayless has mentioned in draft reviews that SS was very underrated, after all we went to Zona this past year and Singletary scored 25 and we won, had a great game against Bayless. Bayless got so many ft's it was ridiculous the other night, totally bull....

Summer league ref's. They're only chance to shine. Or was the word blind. :D

Welcome aboard. Count me in as one that is happy that we drafted Sean. I think he has a lot of potential.
