Man this guy looks sick.We need to trade Ron for this guy.If we could get Wright with a first or even a sec. that would be so fresh. I would really be loving our team if Martin was at the 2 Wright was at the 3 and we could draft a 4 and a 5 to put along with J. Williams, Garcia, Price, Salmons,Douby.

Also if we could move Bibby for another pick and some more young talent. We would be freakn tight! even though it would probably take a year or two to get back to being a force in the playoffs. it would be fun to watch this team.

OK FIXED THE SIGNATURE.

OT - Dude, you really need to shorten your signature. It's a major distraction since it's about 4 times longer than your average post.

;)

but seriously this guys tight! it looks to me like a great replacement even upgrade to ron in alot of areas starting with not being nuts

Dorell has been a constant feature of any Artest or Bibby to Miami trade scenarios, and has been mentioned there is a bit of Gerald Wallace in him. Certainly given their available assets if we did send one of those guys down to the Heat, and did not get this kid out of the deal, I would feel pretty disappointed.

Edit: Entity beat me to it.

i know. i was just getting pumped on this guy because the odds are high that this guy could be on the kings. seeing that theres only a couple of teams that would touch Artest.

First, thank you fot the signature reduction. :p

I'm intrigued by Dorell Wright. It just seems like there's a possibility for a LOT more there as he develops and learns more about the game.

definatley has a future in the NBA.

I honestly don't see what the big deal is about this guy. He's athletic but.... well, that's about it. Good for a few highlight reels, I guess. He hasn't improved much at all. I honestly don't really care if the Heat include him or not.

Improved from what? This year was his first year getting significant time. He got about 130minutes total, and all garabgetime, last year.

He's 21, and the attraction is the chance to relive the Gerald Wallace moment of error, but get in on the other end this time. The kid has flashes of that type of all court stat sstuffing impact. Still remember Gerald's flash of brilliance for us on Christmas when he was about 21 or 22. Bout the last we saw of him.

Well this kid finsihed up the Christmas season with back to back b ig games 17pts 14rebs followed by 21pts 7rebs 4ast 4stl and 6blks the next night (Dec. 29). They throw him back out there to finish the seaon off and he;s 17pts 8reb 4ast in the season ender. He's still raw and inconsistent, but that's precisely the time to pick up a kid like this, BEFORE his value sweels and he costs too much to get. And maybe he works out, and maybe he doesn't. But there is clearly potential there, same way it was with Wallace.

id love to get my hands on this kid. like brick said, you dont have much to lose, but lots to gain. bibby for jwill, doleac, pick, and wright is almost too obvious a deal to not do.

I guess looking back at his game log, I think I'm biased because I only seem to have seen his horrible games. He was absolutely invisible against the Kings during those two games and in the other games I've seen him play, but yeah, as Brick points out, he's had some solid efforts that I seem to have missed.

We'll see I guess. For a supposed energy guy he sure has a way of disappearing.

He is a better passer and has a better jump shot than Wallace but isn't as athletic. Don't know if he'll be as good, but I'd love to see them go at each other.

this kid is around two years YOUNGER than K-mart where was K-mart two years ago? sure he might have disappeared but remember this he been gettin only a few mins to get going. almost all bench players have games where they never get going. k-mart started this year and disappeared in some games but we all know he can ball

hey i was lookin it over and who would also be included in a trade for Artest?
Jason Williams?

Instead of trading for Wright, I'd rather re-sign Wallace, package Miller, #10 and Artest in a deal for the unhappy Shawn Marion and run the opposition out of the gym every night.

PG-Mike Bibby, Ronnie Price, John Salmons
SG-Kevin Martin, Francisco Garcia, Quincy Douby
SF-Shawn Marion, Corliss Williamson
SF-Gerald Wallace, Kenny Thomas
C-Justin Williams, Shareef Abdur-Rahim

1. We dont have the cap room to sign Wallace

2. Why would Phoenix trade Marion within their division and for an aging center who cant run which is their whole system and a head case defender who needs to monopolize the ball. Plus they can get a top 5 pick for Marion which is a better and cheaper option.
