Should we rest Boogie, and focus on development over wins and losses?

What should we do the remainder of the season?

No absolute not, every player is playing with pain's at this point in the year, how can we have development when he's literally the only player worth developing on the squad?

If he wants to rest he will have plenty of time once the playoff start, the guy is 24 and needs playing time to keep getting better unless they plan on trading him in the off-season and want to avoid him getting injured there's no other reason you rest DMC.

If we had actual players to develop than yeah you would do it but we don't so it's even more pointless resting him. Cousins playing won't hurt the development of Nik/Ben who are literally the only other two players we are developing.

Yeah, I'll ask the question.

How many of these injuries are related to a 6'11", 270lb center being asked to play in an up-tempo offense and assume the role of "rim runner"?

Say what you will, but some bodies are just not meant for that style of play and Cuz would obviously be a prime example of a body which isn't suited for it.

An 82 game schedule is already tough on many players and we've seen an increase in serious injuries even to guards. Asking a lumbering center to cover even more ground on a nightly basis at a higher speed is asking for trouble and I have little tolerance for it after going through the Webber fiasco. Some injuries are just freak accidents, can't prevent them but it doesn't mean you should passively encourage it, which a higher tempo does with a guy like Cuz.

4ward this to the ****ing idiots running the team please! i'm sick of their stupid fantasy of junk ball. they're going to revolutionize the game with math and gimmick tactics. sounds like f'ng nellie ball to me.

The sad truth at this point it that "Tanking" and trying to win seem to be getting the same results. As for next season, I'll repeat the same think I have said over the past 2 seasons: the solution to our problems is not likely to be found in the draft. We need an experienced quality big and dependability at the 2. We need solid outside side shooting and most of all we need stability at the helm. Tanking will at best bring in a prospect that might fit one of our needs in the future or make a chip in a trade for a guy that will... maybe. Wining now could aid in development of the core for next season. It might also go a little way to making Sacramento a little more attractive to FA's, but realistically free agency has not been our friend in the past. Maybe Vlade and Karal can change this... maybe. So that leaves trades. Can Karl ID guys we can use/afford and get PDA to make it happen? They really need to this is our BEST hope for next season and neither tanking nor wining will really impact it.

Well, that's just defeatism rearing its ugly head. ;)

Unfortunately, it's also true right now, or at least it seems to be.
