He left the Miami vs Chicago game already with a knee injury...don't know what happened....i wasn't watching...i turned on ESPNews...and at the bottom that lil tidbit was the breaking news so i turn it to the game and No Shaq....DWade is on his way to having a MONSTER game (in his return back home to Chicago--calls himself Chi-town's finest...heh) and its still early to midway through the second quarter

yeah^

not even remotely the same as Chris's injury...Allan Houston is an example of someone is struggling with a Chris like knee injury

but Shaq didn't go down quite as awkardly as Timmy did...he just like stepped on Othella and his knee just buckled a big and he fell to the ground

this is my 2,000 post...woohoo!

A few minutes ago ESPN reported Shaq was out for the season and now they seem to be not sure. I guess the Miami Herald reported he tore ligaments.

Sorry for the confusion on that other thread, folks. I caught that fake article up on PacersDigest and most of their posters were talking about it as if it were a real article, so I posted it before verifying the link...

This is the latest news on Shaq:

INDIANAPOLIS -- Shaquille O'Neal won't play before his injured knee is examined by doctors in Miami.

The Heat ruled the center out of Wednesday night's game against the Indiana Pacers, and spokesman Tim Donovan said O'Neal would fly home with the team and have an MRI taken Thursday.

His status for the Heat's next home game on Saturday against Orlando has not yet been determined.

O'Neal left the game against Chicago on Tuesday night after landing awkwardly early in the first quarter. He fell onto Bulls forward Othella Harrington, after going up for an alley-oop pass from Dwyane Wade, and stayed on the floor for several minutes -- holding his knee.

He was then helped off the floor and into the locker room.

O'Neal played only two minutes against Chicago and didn't score. O'Neal, who missed a game in December due to a calf injury, is averaging 22.7 points and 10.4 rebounds in his first season with the Heat.

So we won't know how long he'll be out until this weekend.
