Quincy Miller

Who cares what position players play at this point. The team needs more talent period. And it's not about this year and who plays what position. It's about next year and the years after. Right now I don't see DWill or Omri being around next year.

While I totally agree about DWill, I think Casspi is a good fit for the Kings. You cannot overlook the importance of role players who are also hard workers and team players.

I want Omri back too, my concern would be whether he wants to come back after this season. His excitement about being a King again was one of my favorite moments of the off-season. I just hope that enthusiasm didn't get swept into the gutter along with everything else post-Malone.

I have a feeling that there will be many suitors for Omri next year. Most will be contenders. It'll probably come down to his devotion to Sacramento. I wouldn't blame him if he did leave here to join a contending team. But, I feel like we will be a contending team next year

Have I posted in this thread yet?

Quincy Miller is better than Derrick Williams. They posted Q-Mill up once, and he made a nice post move unlike D-Will who can't do anything but an ugly turn around fadeaway.

While I wouldn't exactly protest the point, I'm not sure I'd base my whole argument for, well, anything on a single play.

Is it me or does Quincy Miller remind you of Donte Green a little? Looks style of play and body type. View attachment 5167

Looks maybe, but entirely different players. Quincy is a way better rebounder than Donte ever dreamed of being. Quincy is a better ball handler than Donte at the same point in time. But most of all, Quincy is more of a hustle player than Donte, who decided when he wanted to play hard and when not to.

I was skeptical of PDA's reasons for signing Quincy to a 10 day. After watching him play against NBA talent I think he has some potential to stick as a rotation player. I would not have minded seeing if he could have bothered some of Klay's shots the other night.

It helps that they both share #20 with the Kings. Their heights are also similar, with Quincy is listed as 6'10'' and Greene as 6'11''. I hope he can pan out as a solid contributor on our team. I haven't been watching many Kings games as of late, so I'm quite behind on the Miller train.

Well if you'd stop chasing those chickens you'd have more time to watch some games. :p I'm sorry, I couldn't resist....

He needs to be retained as casspi insurance. If Casspi decides to leave we will be In desperate need of a player that can soften the blow to our bench. I like what Miller brings to the game.

I don't think casspi is part of the plans. He's roster filler.

in his 20 mpg that hes averaged as a kings he has shot 25% from three. In his 15 mpg with denver last year he shot 31% from three. In the NBDL he averaged 33% and 35% from three spanning last season and this season while getting 24 mpg and 28 mpg respectively. As of now it seems as though he isnt a sparkplug off the bench and needs a significant amount of minutes to be effective. At a glance it appeared as though he had the tools that we need from a bench player. According to the stats hes the opposite.

didnt see him on the bench or box score. Maybe didn't get a visa in time?

It appears that the Kings neglected to resign him to his second 10 day contract in time for him to play in wednesday's game. His first 10 day contract had expired. That's why he wasn't at the game.

Ya, just saw he's signing it in time to play at the Cavs. I bet it had to do with the Visa anyways. He gets more games.
